Update: I got them to revert it. They apologized and shit. The original representative emailed me back to say so. He claimed he was in a meeting and yet emailed me three times and cancelled the upgrade himself without being able to give me a call. Interesting facts right there.

I called the representative that spoke with my wife earlier today and he wouldnt answer, multiple times. He convinced her to upgrade to a package that I dont want and that cant be used with the equipment we own (Netgear, 300 mbps) so they want to charge us more and have us rent equipment after we move. Thats what this whole thing is about: Im moving and need to transfer service.

I spoke with another guy after calling the main line and he said that the representative from earlier will call me back to sort it out. Its been like 30 minutes now and its 5pm. He is probably out the door now. These assholes are gonna get called the fuck out today or tomorrow.

Btw, right now we own a modem and router that do 300 mbps and only have a plan to do 100 down. We dont ever get that, we are lucky to get 50 and thats with an Ethernet cable.

I have seen Gods Not Dead, Fireproof, and some parts of Courageous and War Room. I found out about Saving Christmas and tried to watch it for the lulz but I couldnt fucking take it.

In order of how good (to bad) the ones I have seen are:
Fireproof
Gods Not Dead
Courageous
War Room
Saving Christmas

Fireproof is actually not terrible, but it uses religion to help a marriage and I personally dont find that to be helpful. The underlying ideas make sense and the movie has a quirky twist to it that makes it slightly more enjoyable than the others I have seen. It does have Kirk Cameron though.

Gods Not Dead is just campy enough to be enjoyable. It has a somewhat plausible story when you feel like a constant victim and thats pretty fair if you think about how many people might feel that way. Its both hilariously naive and somewhat uplifting at times, like the girl who has an abusive father (which is shaming other religions and thats sad but whatever its preachy). It ends with a concert and a hilariously bad death.

Courageous is not interesting to me and I didnt see the whole thing. My first glimpse of it was towards the end where they chase some black men and one of them rages once he is caught (it is legitimately funny how they shot that). When it was on tv other days, I caught some moments that were excessively preachy, of course, and I didnt really see why they went with the story they did. Its about cops and how they are sinful people but one of them is a devout Christian who helps the others be better for their community and families.

War Room is one I have very little to talk about. I saw the first 30 minutes of it or so, and it just jumped right into a story about an older lady showing another lady her prayer room (War Room) to help her in times of need. I think it has Cloris Leachman(?) who was on Malcolm in the Middle.

Saving Christmas is just really dumb. If you can watch it, more power to you. Kirk Cameron is a lunatic and he should be banned from film making.
