So when Corbin gets to go wild and do stuff, he has like one or two moves. And when it's Roman, he just hits infinity Superman Punches. So many of the guys have the dirt worst movesets. I watched Elias and Corbin for years and I struggle to name more than two moves for either guy. Only the indy guys can force a decent match out of these shows, and then they get rewarded by never being pushed and elevating these boring dudes. I didn't dump on the show--I can't speak on that. But the idea of Brock freaking Lesnar being champion again, something everyone was hating up until WrestleMania, is now champion again. But people are saying that it's an improvement because they had a more horrible storyline going on before it. They replaced something you hate with something else you hate. Because the whole point of everything is that "nowadays people will believe anything" because the world is, indeed, totally screwed up now with so many insane things in it. So when you have insane stuff like alien invasions, people from other dimensions, half the population disappearing and coming back, insane tech, magic BS, literal God's who were previously myths just hanging out, why would they not believe some crazy story about elementals trying to destroy this world? But they think he's mostly there because Bischoff can talk to execs at FOX well, and potentially because if they fail, he can be a fall guy. With the money they're throwing around now, I think they can absolutely swallow their pride if their names are linked to a shitty product that's currently just known as the "Vince is too senile and out of touch" period where they can just have plausible deniability should it still suck. Beyond that, Bischoff was the one who basically helped tank TNA beyond repair back in the day. He didn't have a reason to get involved then aside from money, so why would he not get involved now just for money? They might fight more than the other random dinguses they have backstage, but I don't see them fighting enough to make a difference. They are now the top of the pyramid, respectively, for Raw and Smackdown but obviously McMahon will always have the last say. One WWE source compared their roles to Paul Levesque's in NXT in that they will be in charge, but it's still Vince's company.
