I had high hopes for Death Stranding

Even when the reviews came out and said it was mostly a cargo delivering slog, I still gave it a chance

When I was playing the game and low and behold, it was a slog, I still didn't give up thinking there would be pay off at the end

tbh I was completely oblivious to the whole streaming scene until ~6 months ago when I started watching maximillian dood's RE2 playthrough. I also wasn't even aware fextra did any kind of streaming and am more familiar with him for maintaining the soulsborne wikis. >.>

I haven't tripped since, like, chapter 2 lol...the vehicle complaint is semi-valid later on in chapters 3/4/5, but by then you'll probably start seeing a ton of roads that let you skip stuff and you can build the infinitely better zip lines.

i haven't read the books yet, but from what i understand she wasn't even in the first one, and for the show they decided to expand her role and establish her character in the first season because that's kinda what you have to do with a tv show ensemble cast. and she is a fan favorite in the show as i'm sure she is in the books. so i have no doubt they will find something for her to do.

This is also true. I watched the show first and then went back to the books and spent most of the first book wondering where the fudge Chrisjen was. She's a favorite of mine too so I would very much be pleased with them changing stuff around to include her more.

The trailer also features Bobbie quite a bit more than she was in the book IIRC so yeah, Avasarala being around more is likely a safe bet.

I went with Pokemon and I'm pretty bored. Don't get me wrong, it's not as bad as people make it sound, but I'm not really into Pokemon anymore and I really wanted a proper day/night cycle. That is really killing it for me. I played a bit of LGP and haven't touched it since X/Y otherwise.

Fallen Order already hit $36 last week from Target and I'm betting $30-$35 on Black Friday is very likely.

Pokemon will take a while, but as another poster mentioned, both S/M and US/UM hit $20-$25 several times about 2-3 months after release.

Fighting every trainer and capturing some Pokmon is considering grinding? Do raid battles give a crapton of xp or something? Even so...they should have balanced the game around that and xp share always being on.

Yeah. I didn't even really grind either. I just did maybe 3 or 4 of those red tower things in the wild area, captured some pokemon, battled every trainer i came across(didn't detour) and boom 26. The rest of my part is in the high 10's/lower 20s.
