1. When they put in an empty mag and don't know to hold the slide release down while racking it. Makes the pistol lock back first. I've seen some guns do this like Kahrs and my little .32 kel tec but it isn't common. It makes it obvious it is empty.

2. Semi auto runs out if ammo and slide doesn't lock back when empty. You see a glock go 'click' and the operator's first instinct is to assume it is empty and not 'tap and rack'. On a DA/SA gun at least pull the trigger again in case of a light primer strike.

3. Pump shotguns holding like 20 rounds.

4. People pumping shotguns 3 times before they shoot for sound effects. You just wasted two shells idiot.

5. Cops/serious people not carrying one in the chamber. A lackey yeah I get it but a cop or a real operator has one in the pipe.

Psych meds have studies showing they have effect, but what effect and how they will interplay is mostly guessing, I can't tell you how often that psych docs will literally change meds for whims. Without trying I can easily get my doc to double or cut my dose in half, or switch me all together.

If I have a real medical issue the doctor isn't going to fuck around with the meds, they are going to tell me "you need x antibiotic for y duration"

Unless you've spent a lot of time dealing with the mental health world I don't think you'll understand how sloppy and scattershot it is.

Hey guess what, I have spent a lot of time in the mental health world. The last 12 years, as a matter of fact. If you're going to a psychiatrist expecting them to solve your problems for you you are woefully mistaken at their purpose. And to be frank, this is how most people treat their mental health care. At the end of the day, the extent of our medical knowledge on psychiatry is what it is because the complexity of the brain is vastly more difficult than any other system in the human body. Who are you going to blame for that? Damn drug companies and their... Drugs! Making brains compex and difficult to diagnose and treat! Grrr! The world has betrayed me again!

No, people are just here to help to the best of their ability with the best knowledge we have available at the time. It's nobodies fault that it isn't perfect. Sometimes, the problems in our life aren't anybody's fault, and creating this images of boogeymen and enemies is counter-productive to actually healing and recovering.

I see both points here. Phych docs kinda have to take shots in the dark. But it does seem like mine wants to try me on the ones are always brand name new shit that I have to fill out a discount card to get for less than like $200 (and that is with good insurance too).

The issue with benzos goes way beyond potential narcotics abuse. or addiction. A lot of recent studies have shown that Benzos are very bad long-term for brain health. You probably should have gotten off of them 4 or 5 years ago when the evidence started coming out regardless of FDA regulations.

If you don't think the psychiatrists are right then you don't have to do what they recommend unless you are institutionalized, my man. You're probably not going to get better though denying your issues and blaming your circumstances on others.

You're correct, I just feel disenfranchised by psych docs that wouldn't even look at the Ashton manual for benzo withdrawal and they just decide to cut my benzo script into 1/5 in one month and then down to 1/3 of that the next month.

Then they tell me they'll up me to 4mg of diazepam a day if I go to outpatient therapy. What a joke. An extra 60mg of diazepam on the streets is like 12-24 bucks a month.

And I'm not, but they put me in the benzo withdrawals themselves. They took me from 6mg of Xanax to 4mg clonazepam a day, rapidly down to 1.5mg a day, then 6mg of diazepam a day (which roughly equals half of a .5mg clonazepam). Then the next month 2mg of diazepam a day.

6mg of diazepam is like drinking maybe 1/4 of a can of bud light when they had me on like 1 6 pack of Colt .45 when they had me on 1.5mg of clonazepam.
