Lurker > Mega Mana

A group of players slowly build and strengthen teams of hired characters. Those characters are bought and sold and upgraded with prices ranging from 1 to 5, with further purchases (upkeep) to strengthen them. Every character has unique abilities to affect the fights, and a race that grants bonuses for certain amount of like-races. Every match contributes towards the next fight, whether it be new money to spend, reformatting strategies based on your team and other teams, and every decision affects you down the line. There are also pre-ordained special event times where the lowest teams get to pick a merc/item combos to further help them before the highest team, and there are even boss events.

It's literally Mercenaries the game.

Welp, this is impossible.

My favorite characters are from Next Class apparently, and I barely watched their TNG appearances. I also realize I barely remember anyone at all after what happened to JT. Of four categories (Well-Remembered, Not Well-Remembered, There, and Who?), only Adam Torres is in the first category between the original few seasons and the newbies who go on to Next Class. It literally goes Alex Nunez (S3) to Adam Torres (S10).

"There" is a fun category though. It has Terri, Hazel, and Toby. They exist.

I dunno who my favorite character would be tbh, they all had stuff going on. Good times way back when

Yeah, its tough. Like, of the ten polled, I'd have to say Spinner because he ended up the most matured? Somehow? Maybe? Like, this is the idiot who bullied Rick and JT and Toby and did a lot of really dumb things, but he somehow became a pretty good role model at The Dot??

Clare sucks in part because later seasons just feel bloated; Emma ping pongs in goodness or badness and makes terrible relationship choices; Manny... whatever good or bad she has in stories and personality, it doesn't matter because her hair was the worst part of the show on more than one occasion; Mia got too much attention in too little time; Darcy's cute but her stories weren't (and made me like Spinner more IIRC); Paige is a close second in the poll except I hated her more than Spinner earlier on; I barely paid attention to Anya and Holly J; and Craig... if this were just his first and second season, hell yeah Craig, but he became a horrible person and I pity him.

God, Degrassi characters are just so awesome and terrible and wonderful and flawed. I think I'm gonna try a cursory, flawed, memory-only ranking for my long work day

I enjoyed, and have been enjoying, vanilla Skyrim over the past few months for what it is, and it's far more playable without any modifications than Oblivion was.

Head into Blackreach, leave it by different towers, and tell me Vanilla Skyrim is playable.

It crashed each time, but I save pretty often and experienced worse before in other games so I figured it out somewhat quickly where it caused me no shortterm issue.

Obtaining the ultimate fishing trophy in LOTRO, as it involved building the relatively useless fishing skill to max levels which takes many many hours, offers nothing more than a cosmetic title and trophy furniture for your house, and in a game with lots and lots and lots of mindnumbing tasks (killing # of enemies, doing x quests in an area) for turbine points to use to buy even more content, there were no monetary rewards for any portion of it.

I loved it though, and fondly remember some of my latter days playing spending hours in Angmar, a volcanic and drake filled hellbowl, fishing with my little Oktoberfest hobbit and chatting with my guildmates.

DQV has a higher playrate than it used to but B8 still has a much higher proportional playrate than any other place outside of like...actual Dragon Quest forums. You played the game either by getting a limited run DS port or emulation. B8 went out of their way to play it because Sir Chris (sup) pushed it big time back in the day.

Kingdom Hearts 2 sold around 5 million copies.

It's also on Android/iOs, along with many of the other mainline games.

New note: Since I was on three of the top four six person nominations (Skies, Stardew, and Strange) with all three in my top ten, I guess I should really play A Hat in Time.

Maria walks in and freaks out over her mothers body. She locks herself in the room because shes scared, and also knocked over the coat rack which locks the door. I'm the final Skies of Arcadia with it at +18 (since I assumed it'd go out sooner than it should, so placed it higher on my list, probably would be below 10 if I seriously ranked my top 20 of the list).

Sad, but not at all surprised to see Skies out this soon. Actually, happy and thankful it nearly made the top two-thirds! We that love it, really really love it!

Breath was one of two respect votes for games I haven't played yet but I would definitely put over any other games that would fill my last two spots. I didn't want to leave it off from ignorance. If I had more votes available, I maybe would've given God of War one. I don't think Witcher III made it, right?

- If only TOEI wasn't in crackdown mode over the last few months, I'd have links to clips of the Great Ranger War intro (to the MMPR Theme), the first fight scene, the second fight scene, the fight where Gokai Blue uses FIVE SWORDS, and some others. Over the past few months, I haven't kept up too much with television; there are only a few shows I actively make time for every week (all of which still haven't been ranked, one of which won't at all). Gokaiger is one of those shows.

Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger is Power Rangers. It's pirate-themed Power Rangers from outer space who uses keys to unlock past rangers costumes and powers in fighting a war against aliens that not only destroyed each of the Rangers' home planets, but are attacking Earth and all the past Power Rangers' powers are gone. So, the Gokaiger are space pirates that came to Earth to kick ass and get treasure. What's the treasure? Well, it's only nine episodes in and we don't know, but to find it they have to unlock and master the powers of all the past Sentai teams. And when they do, often with the help of a former Sentai, they can use the powers in their Megazord. It's pretty much just kicking ass all over with a pile of history and references behind it. I am a sucker for both of those, and combined? <3 <3.

I don't understand a word anyone is saying, but the characters are well-defined. Red, badassly named "Captain Marvelous," is a smarmy, Indiana Jones kind of guy. Blue is the standoffish quiet but deadly swordsman who may have been part of the enemy forces beforehand. Yellow's sarcastic, money-loving, and a fun ball of attitude. Pink's a princess with some combat skill. Then there's Green, nicknamed "Doc" and modelled after Doctor Who. He's hilarious. Remember how early on in MMPR, Billy always managed to blunder his way past the putties? He'd like try to hide and ducka nd the Putties would slam into each other and he's get out unscathed? Doc's kind of like that, but less scared and more, "How the hell did he manage to pull that one off?" He's a terrible fighter. He's just a complete goofball. Like, as the Jungle Fury ranger, he'll act like he's actually a cat and growl and stuff while the others are... well, they're too awesome and carefree to be serious, but they're not putting their hands up like claws and swatting the air. You can always tell which one he is (because not every team has a Green) because he's the awkward one. Yellow too with the sassy stances.

There's not really any big dramatic substance to it. You want Power Rangers? They'll give you 200 of them. Want crazy team-ups? Here's five red rangers in one battle. How about cameos? Magirangers, Wild Force, Jungle Fury, and SPD equivalents have all shown up. Crazy good fight scenes, excellent slow story reveals, and just pure explosive awesome.

It's only nine episodes in so I can't put it much higher.

The Gokaiger are space faring pirates on Earth seeking the ultimate treasure. They wield keys allowing them to change into the past 34 Sentai teams after all of them sacrificed their powers in a great war against an invading army. In that clip, the Gokaiger use the Zyuranger keys to use their powers and weapons in the fight as the actual red ranger from Carranger (our Turbo Ranger) watches on.

I couldnt find any good clips from earlier in the season, unfortunately. But, yeah, it's a huge legacy season with stolen powers on a team essentially acting in their own self-interests, but have to understand the imporrance and power and responsibility of all past seasons to grow and truly become heroes.

As I was typing, I thought: Its essentially Firefly if it were Power Rangers. Theyre a small band of outlaws from all diffetent walks of life trying to get by and going up against a powerful everpresent army. Red, Captain Marvelous, is Mal. Blue, Joe, is Zoe. Yellow, Luka, is Jayne. Don, Green, is a mix of Simon and Wash. Princess Ahim, Pink, is a mix of Kaylee and Inara. And Gai, Gokai SILVAH, is... uh... he's a fanboy. He's the Firefly fanboy who will merrily push you into watching Firefly and Buffy and Angel and he can be both cloying and over the top, but truly joyous and overflowing with reverence and love.

That really wasnt that quick a summation, was it?

It's astounding how disappointing Samurai and Super Megaforce are in comparison. Not only are they easily two of the very worst seasons ever, but the Sentai they use are soooo freaking good.

In my playthrough topic I twigged on that it was Crow but I was hoping I was wrong. I think the tipping point was where he conveniently leaves your party directly before you fight C and then I realized that everywhere you went, Crow just happened to be chilling in the area too. All the little things just started to add up.

Just came in to post this. Remembered I did at one time suspect Crow in the tunnels when he conveniently left the group to escort people back, and then showed up right after the fight. Plus, C. But I think I forgot about it not too long after.

Same thing happened with Misty. I suspected the first or second time I saw her, but she was too awesome, and she already had the reveal of being the opera lady.

Its still current WWE, unfortunately.

- Multi-man elimination/2 out of 3 falls matches so there's no wrestling during the commercial break.

- 'Wild Card' rule still 'in effect' so brand split means nothing

- Shane McMahon is the most visible superstar on both shows (which was Stephanie, or Stephanie and The Authority a few years back, just a never ever ending stream of Stop Already)

- The title with the most (and best) story and craft put into the feuds is the joke title
