Btw, I picked the game up because of this topic of yours. Most I've been sucked in to a game since monster hunter world came out. I had been looking at it a bit but the trailer vid on psn didn't exactly thrill me.

Yeah, Kingdom Come is an incredible game. It was my personal GOTY back in 2018. I've already done two full playthroughs (one at launch and one last year), and I'll probably end up doing another one later this year.

I hope the next game is even better.

EDIT: Also Demons Souls was exclusive to PS3. Dark Souls was on PS3 and Xbox 360 originally, and PC not long afterwards.

Witcher 1 is definitely my favorite of the trilogy.

To be fair there's some nostalgia bias since I literally began with the series back in 2007 just after the first game came out (I just built a new PC and saw a recent video review of the game and wanted to give it a shot). But there are quite a few things I prefer in the original game over the sequels like the overall story, the atmosphere, the soundtrack and some of the gameplay differences. The timed clicking combat didn't bother me, I really liked the leveling system, and I still think it had the best alchemy system of the trilogy.

Witcher 3 is definitely an amazing game and still my favorite of 2015, and it's obviously more polished with much better visuals, a more impressive scope and superior presentation. But I still think the first game is my favorite of the three.

Twilight Town wasn't THAT bad, but yeah it definitely wasn't my favorite chapter in the game.

You do end up getting the best party member during that chapter though.

Absolutely. But earlier Carlin was FAR superior to later Carlin. I preferred his goofy comedy over his angry political ranting comedy.

That's not to say his later work wasn't good, but Carlin at Carnegie and Carlin on Campus are still his best work to me.

Speaking of fighting, just an FYI you'll be trained how to properly fight during a main mission in the game. Until that point combat is incredibly difficult because your moves are limited.

I only mention this because in my first playthrough I kept doing sidequests without advancing the main story too much and was wondering why every time I got into combat it was kicking my ass.

The reveal was pretty damn clever. They revealed Project REsistance back at E3 I think and made everyone think it was some new standalone multiplayer game. Turns out it's just the multiplayer portion of RE3.

Looks great. Can't wait to play this.

Yeah, it's an amazing game. Got it back when the Seal The Deal came out on PC (since it was free on launch for owners of the game).

Most everything about the game shines. The platforming is fun and solid, the humor and presentation are incredibly charming, and the soundtrack is phenomenal. It's just a great game.

Still haven't gotten the Nyakuza Metro DLC yet, but I'll get around to that at some point.

The source code for the PC version of Saints Row 2 has been found and the PC version of the game will finally be fixed. They're going to fix performance issues, stability, integrate Steam's networking for online co-op/multiplayer, and add the previously console only DLC to the PC version. And it's going to be free to everyone who already owns the game.

It'll be a new app ID for Steam too apparently. And it's only going to be the Steam version of the game for now. No current plans for other versions.

We already went through Trigun and Outlaw Star and Wild Arms. But there is so much more to go through. She prefers newer stuff though like Squid Girl and Cells at Work, but i was thinking something like Hamtaro or card captor sakura might be decent for her.

I've been enjoying the Iron Judgment update. Nice to see armor make a comeback and some of the new cards are pretty cool.

Didn't, didn't Novigrad just drop a month or two back, too?

There have actually been three major free expansions this year:

Crimson Curse back in March, which added a new leader for all factions and added new status abilities (vitality, bleeding, shield and poison)



Novigrad back in June, which added the sixth new faction Syndicate and added new game mechanics (coins, tributes, hoarding and insanity).



And just last week Iron Judgment was released, which reintroduced armor back into the game and also new mechanics (defenders, barricade and exposed).

I haven't been having too many problems with Crash 1. I'm already up to the Pinstripe Potoroo boss and stocked up at 99 lives.

Granted I still haven't played a few of the hardest levels yet (like The High Road) so we'll have to see if that changes for me.

This. Activision is notoriously stingy when it comes to big sales so this was a pleasant surprise.

And I'll be honest there's a part of me that feels like Spyro may get pulled from the lineup because it's either a mistake or they'll get massive pushback from the people who bought it new last month for $40 which is the secondary reason I bit on this bundle.

But yeah, this is definitely one of the craziest Humble Monthly bundles to date.

Surprised you haven't seen Golden Boy yet. It's hilarious and the main character Kintaro Oe loves him some tiddies as well.



It's only 6 episodes long unfortunately, but it's still great. Definitely watch it in English though, the dub is fantastic (especially Kintaro).
