This is weird though. People who liked the finale didn't like the last 3. I liked the last 3 but hated the finale.

Same I actually enjoyed the season up until that last episode.

I think that it was bran becoming king is what turned me completely off on this show.

Ive been complaining about this show for years, but I dont see how the latest ep was any worse than any other ep since season 7. Beyond the Wall, anyone? I honestly think the recent ep is the best of season 8 so far.

Yeah, this whole blowback reeks of residual fallout from people being mad about Ep 3. Ep 4 was about as good as any episode from the last couple seasons.

Like someone said earlier ITT, GoT has descended from amazing, all-time greatness to pretty good, kinda dumb but fun with occasional great moments and internet culture cannot handle that. It has to be extreme. Disappointment cant be measured within reason, it has to be the worst final season of any show in history and devoured by the mob.

Well said. I agree that there was a quality drop, but I don't understand everyone acting like it's the worst thing ever. There's definitely a lot of residual anger after episode 3 and it's causing people to really nitpick and actively look for reasons to hate on the show. People are acting like that whole Dany not seeing the fleet thing is some of the worst writing ever. It's not that big a deal, especially considering the fleet wasn't right in the open. I guarantee people wouldn't complain much about it if it happened 2-3 seasons ago when everyone loved the show. Game of Thrones is still very entertaining, but it won't be if you go into it expecting it to suck.

Thing is it wouldnt have happened 2-3 seasons ago cus the writing wasnt as dogshit lazy as it is now, and your defense for dany charging KL is lol worthy at best

The reaction is extreme bc the shittiness is extreme. Its ok if you like the last ep but the writing and logic was trash, yes worse than every other ep especially since its setting up the last two eps in the series
