Lego, the Hobbit (was horrible compared to the Star Wars and Indy Jones ones I played). Unions can make it near impossible unless the shitbag does something like assault or theft. Just completely lazy? Good luck! 2) "Seniority." Oh, this awesome guy who has been here for 2 years, works 5x better than most, and has had 0 issues wants to switch from night to day shift? Sorry, gotta ask that shitbag who has been here for 3 if he wants it, first. Same with getting manager/leader roles. 3) Pay raises. While union are great for getting a pretty good STARTING wage, a lot of times the mandatory raises means that great workers miss out on better pay raises because "everybody gets a yearly XX% raise instead." I'm always torn on the union subject. I think they are great for negotiating work conditions, safety, overtime, holidays, and often benefits....but past that I think they tend to hurt the workers they are supposed to represent. --- EwokCommanda, Enigma, Wahooka, Skarr, and R-110 (and similars). |

There's always another deal or acquisition to try, that's why they usually still work as heads of business into their 70s and 80s while the rest of us are enjoying our retirements. It's just a different mindset to the majority of us. This is how I view it.
