Deciding to put my 13 and a half year old dog to sleep. It was the right choice, her hips gave out and she couldn't walk anymore, and her mind was going away, but it's still terribly hard to decide to end the life of someone you love, it's always going to pop up in your mind "did I do the right thing?" even if you know objectively that you did.

I had to put my 13 year old labrador to sleep a few weeks ago. He was very ill and the only alternative was to let him suffer.

I'll never forget that day.

I would prefer they become better people and consequently better moderators as well. If by deleting my posts they feel better about themselves or are able to vent some daily frustration, by all means I guess. It doesn't really matter.
