Singapore followed by Zurich.

Was rather ill when stopping in Dubai so I don't remember too much about it.

Well I do not understand the workings and nuances of the stock market and to my knowledge Chipotle doesn't have any restaurants here in the UK.

Would you mind elaborating on this for me. Why is it tanking? What are the implications of this severe a dive? Etc

Literally Zero. The franchise is dead to me. Anything short of this winning Best Picture at Oscars I'm not watching this.

40 plus hours in a single stretch. That was a long time ago.

Recently I've gone something like 5 days on a few hours sleep throughout, probably 10-11. That was killer.

I tried the first couple of episodes but I never returned to it. I do have a huge crush on Gillian Jacobs though so I may go back to it.

What is a 250 word vote?

Also who on earth is struggling to come up with passage of written text that contains two hundred and fifty words in length, and leaving it this close to the deadline? Of course, it's more challenging when it has to pertain to a specific topic or theme that summarises it in a succinct and structured way. That said, when you are attending, what I assume is university and the work that must be submitted is university level, I would hope that you actually understood the material that you needed to write about and hadn't decided to procrastinate and not apply any effort until this late in the time frame for the task, thus returning to my initial query. Who on earth would struggle with this?

Of course I could just be acting like a pompous and pretentious jackass who is passing judgement when I do not know the full details of the situation. Now I have no idea of this text I've written in just a few minutes is indeed 250 words in length so feel free to pad it out with "Screw Flanders" as many times as necessary.

Futurama. Hands down. I'll even argue that it is the best animated sitcom.

Adored this season. Absolutely adored it.

Robin. Easily my favourite of the new characters. Great dynamic with Steve and Dustin. Her being gay could have been revealed better or done better than the way it was done, it seemed like it was done in a way to specifically shit on Steve. But smart to get the audience on her side before that was divulged.
Also can I just say it's odd how Robin can go from looking nothing like either of her mum to suddenly a spitting image of Uma Thurman.

Dad Hopper was bloody hilarious and the rest of Hopper was also hilarious. Him and Joyce are usually the serious ones but they really brought the funny. Especially when combined with Murray brand of bluntness.

Max and Eleven's friendship was great to watch. I liked how much stronger Joyce became this time around. Will's wanting to hold onto the past was all too familiar.

The last episode though. Well specifically the last 40 minutes or so? The song sequence really took me out of it. Billy, not as much as they could have done to humanise him considering how much of a douche he was last season but still an OK payoff. And are they really pulling the same stunt with Hopper like they did with Eleven back in the first season?

Aside from some nitpicks Stranger Things 3 was awesome.

Meh.
The first season was perfect.
The second one you could already tell they weren't really sure where to take things. And the less talk about episode 7 the better. Miserable episode.
This season doesn't look interesting. The setting and art direction look great as always. But the story is already running on fumes. It looks like they're going that route horror sequels fall into when out of ideas where they start trying to define the evil. Give it a character. Like Poltergeist 2. It's better when it's just this unknown force.
Where it's no longer an 'it' but a 'him'. He's talking through someone. What the Upside Down is is going to get an explanation. What his goals are. Etc.

Unless they're trying to mimic all the 80s horror movie series' eventual collapse into themselves due to trying to expand and overcomplicate a simple premise that doesn't lend itself to a series in the first place. In which case they're nailing it so far.

To each their own but I share almost none of your opinions.

Personally as much as I love the first season I do think Season 2 was better in many ways. I never felt like it was running on fumes. It came of a natural escalation and succession of it's concept and it never felt like it was running out of ideas. It reminds me of Legend of Korra, intended and started as a done in one but really expanded it's ideas when asked to continue. As for Episode 7, I think it's fine. Not my favourite episode either but I'm probably one of the lucky few whose grandmother wasn't murdered by that episode which is why I'm kinder to it. It being an entire episode didn't help. If it was interwoven over 2 or 3 episodes then I would have enjoyed it more.

This season does look interesting to me. It looks as though they are heavily leaning into the coming of age element this time around and after all they went through a younger age seeing them fragment now leads to many a possibility. The threat is approaching in a different way and feels just as intimidating an frightening, ties nicely to the gangs separation. I don't think they've given the villain character, rather they've given a defined motivation. As long as the reasoning is simple and there's no overly contrived diatribe or plan then we're good.

Anyway I'm looking forward to Stranger Things 3. I could be proven wrong and it could be terrible but they have a great track record so far and I won't know until I see it.
