Topic | Did you ever use devices like GameShark and Action Replay back in the day? |
Jason Hart Maivia 06/23/19 1:28:54 AM #17 | Yes, I've used them. Game Genie for NES and SNES GameShark for N64, Dreamcast, PSX and PS2 CodeBreaker for Dreamcast Action Replay for GameCube, PSX and PS2 Out of the ones listed above, the only one I don't physically own is the Game Genie for the NES, but it was rented from Blockbuster Video and later borrowed from a friend. I mostly didn't use them until after I finished the game that I'm playing or if I've been stuck for a pretty long time (at least half a year). I try to finish all games with skill. Other than codes that allow you to cheat, I like to use other ones, like moonwalking, walking through walls, making characters into giants, and unlocking all content so that you don't have to do it again (I've had plenty of corrupted memory card saves). Also, because I never owned a modem for the GameCube, I use Action Replay to get rare and online-only items (long after I've beaten the game). I've also used it to do things like unlock the AX track in F-Zero GX and get the NES games in Animal Crossing. It sucked that I had to use cheat codes to unlock GBA-GameCube link cable content (like all of the records in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life), since I don't the cable or the game. If the content is already in the game that I paid for, then just give me a way to unlock it by playing, not by paying. Content that can only be unlock by playing online also makes me feel the same way, since they can be lost forever due to servers shutting down or because many people don't play old games anymore. Also, without finding old VMU saves, I won't be able to have the extra songs for the Samba de Amigo games on the the Dreamcast, but with cheat codes, I can still use the Red Cat in Daytona USA without needing to put in 20 in-game hours or racing online, which I can officially no longer do. Having cheat code support in emulators is terrific, especially when you just want to goof off and speed through a game without having to have to hook older consoles back up. Ocarina codes for Wii and Gamecube games is super nice. --- Praise Rainbow Mika NNID: JasonMaivia ; Samurai Warriors 3 (Wii): 0346-6035-0276 |

Topic | Do you like mustard? |
Jason Hart Maivia 05/24/19 2:49:47 AM #29 | I can't really pick a favorite, because I like different mustards for different foods, and sometimes it depends on what I'm in the mood for (like when you're selecting a dipping sauce for your Chicken McNuggets) Throught my life, I've had American yellow, spicy brown, dijon, honey, and Chinese hot mustard, and have mixed some with other things to make a new sauce or dressing. I've used yellow mustard the most, so I guess it's the poll option I'll choose. --- Praise Rainbow Mika NNID: JasonMaivia ; Samurai Warriors 3 (Wii): 0346-6035-0276 |
