Knew a girl who was indoctrinated with all that "we can do it!" feminist propaganda....

....travels north to do roughneck work on the oil patches. Day one, couldn't do jack-shit; by the end of a 20 hour stretch, you could literally hear her psyche crumble, she stayed in the first aid truck while the rest of us finished our work (and hers), before driving back 200km back into civilization.

What the OP here is presenting is safe route for these girls. To taper expectations. Yeah sure, they can get into business and probably do better in the office than out in the 'real world', but would they be doing it for themselves? Or because the feminist doctrine is forcing them to, so they can meet their quota in progressiveness?

The Boys is a good show, but as a comic, "meh"......it's not really a unique take on the superhero genre, as there have been many other takes on the "ironic" superhero genre. ...Like "Watchmen", or "Rising Stars".

Rising Stars is a good series I'd wish to be turned into a show. Asking "what if superheroes ACTUALLY existed in the real world?"... one would figure since J. Michael Straczynski's ties to TV (like Murder, She Wrote and Babylon 5) he'd get this story green-lit.
