Topic | Any cons to giving my cat wet food? |
KingHova045 12/27/19 1:07:43 PM #17 | MabusIncarnate posted... There's a lot of wrong, and terrible information being posted here. Unless you intend on brushing your pet's teeth daily, don't switch to wet food. Dry food is beneficial to the long term health of their teeth, will scrape off plaque and keep their dental health ideal throughout their life. I've been a cat owner for 38 years, I worked as a pet store manager for 8 years. If you want your pet to have it's teeth relatively white and healthy into it's senior years, do not put it on a wet food diet. Every word of this post is wrong. --- and when I die, make sure you spread my blood on a BMW. |

KingHova045 12/27/19 2:48:46 AM #7 | Your cats coat will stay softer if you feed it wet food. Especially while it's young. I feed mine about a 1/4 of a 6 oz tin over a bowl of dry food every night for "dinner." As other poster said its much better for their health in general. Just make sure to get something with real ingredients and not byproducts or anything with the word "meal" on the end. --- and when I die, make sure you spread my blood on a BMW. |
