Maybe I'm ignorant or wrong about this, but don't many companies generally try to do what it takes to stop leaks?

Not that I'm necessarily saying this makes it right or anything, but I don't feel it's a Pokemon Company specific issue...

I don't know which season but I stopped watching new episodes around the year 2009. That was when I started college so I mostly stopped following because I just got busier, not necessarily because I was hating the episodes I was watching.

It's been a while since I watched Game Grumps. My issue with Arin isn't so much that he was bad at the game or was allergic to the shield button, my issue was his whole "HOW COULD PEOPLE LIKE THESE GAMES" mindset when playing 3D Zeldas (or other games for that matter), or how he would throw temper tantrums when he was ****ing up over stuff most probably wouldn't or over stuff he WOULDN'T **** up if he payed more attention.

If he was being bad at the game and just simply laughed it off or didn't really react to it at all and just continued talking to Danny, and didn't crap on people for liking things he doesn't like or care for, I wouldn't have given a **** at all about him being bad at Zelda.

He is right about saving, with the bank and restocking your items. The biggest thing he got wrong is missing that heart container. It's basic Zelda law that you pick up the heart before going in the light

he also never mentioned how if you defeat a boss, a warp point spawns at the beginning of a dungeon that takes you straight to the boss. James wouldn't have had to really do that much work to refight the boss and get the heart. That warp point remains even if you go back in time too. Probably one of his weakest knocks against MM he made.

Alot of the other stuff he complains about aren't necessarily wrong, but as I recall it they are generally pretty avoidable if you are familiar with the time limit and how it works and in what ways it is strict. the only time the time limit really becomes a b**** is when dealing with the Anju and Kafei quest I think but I could be forgetting something.

While MM has its iffiness or its tedium (which to some extent is natural due to the nature of the game), I don't think it's really enough to take away from the game's overall quality or how otherwise genius the time limit is.

They haven't made my life in any obvious direct ways I can think of; nothing significant anyways. Only thing I can think of is when my car battery went to **** mid-drive over a year ago and I had to pull over. Cop pulled over to make sure I was okay and a tow truck was coming, and made sure any coming cars avoided my car.

Never really had any BS moments with cops and have been treated fairly. Only time I'm ever uneasy around police is when I'm driving.

VII and IX are definitely worth a look. VIII not so much...

If you're getting a Wii U, some worthwhile exclusives (exclusive for now anyways) to get for it would be:

-Wonderful 101
-Super Mario 3D World
-Not really exclusive but if you haven't played twilight princess then that's a good HD remaster like Wind Waker
-Kirby's Rainbow Curse
-Affordable Space Adventure
-haven't played it myself, but have heard generally positive things about Pikmin 3

And as others have said, check out the eShop and see what indie and virtual console stuff it has.

Crash 2 is nice but DKC2 is legit great.

Final fantasy Tactics = I played the PSP version and found it incredibly meh. Story I recall was hard to follow and alot of things went over my head I think. gameplay-wise the tactical battles didn't really engage me as much as something like Fire Emblem, OST was largely forgettable to me.

NES Castlevanias = Castlevania II is a pretty divisive or disliked game in general, but honestly I don't care much for the first and third games either due to their controls. Super Castlevania IV wipes the floow with all 3 games combined as far as I'm concerned.

2001: A Space Odyssey = As far as films go, I think the only controversial one I really have is not liking 2001. It was just so damn slowly paced and just dragged on for me. Only thigs I remmeber about it was watching a bunch of monkeys doing...monkey things, HAL not being as interesting or intense as I thought it'd be, and some acid trip of an ending that lead to a space fetus finish...okie-dokie then....

Anyways, Bloodstained has only two games, with no third game announced AFAIK.

Oh yeah Setsuna was a game I played at one point. It was...okay.

I can't really speak for non-AVGN stuff since I mostly just stick with AVGN, but I will say that AVGN has been pretty "Meh" the last couple years. 2017 atleast had some great episodes that felt like old AVGN with The Power rangers video, Gameboy Accessories video, and the Planet of the Apes video.

There were some "okay" or "decent" videos after that, not saying everything had been bad, per se, but still, there's been more duds recently compared to the past.

That said, I don't know if I entirely buy everything the 3rd and 4th post in this bought up, and as far as I can tell James still seems to be a nice, cool dude, which is why no matter how things go with newer AVGn videos, I'll have no qualms revisiting and giving views to his older stuff atleast.

Which is funny because I was already incredibly disappointed with the game by then, and IIRC the game actually gets worse from there lol.

I don't give 2 s***s about the dexcuts and I can even overlook weak graphics (Fire Emblem: Three Houses is iffy on the graphics front and it's my favorite game of 2019)

but the difficulty somehow being lower than past games and the fact that I have always been kinda skeptical of the open wild area and haven't heard that much good on it definitely lessens whatever interest I may have otherwise had. I've also heard of softlocking being an issue but I guess we will wait and see how common that is when the games launch as WAY more people are playing it.

The only valid reviews are the ones that 100% agree with my opinions, regardless of if my opinions are based on actually playing the games myself or not.

I won't support or defend the dex cuts, but I also don't personally care.

I don't think I've ever caught more than 100 pokemon in any single game (maybe Red/Blue/Yellow? Back when trying to "catch 'em all" was less ridiculous?). Alot of the stuff that people complain about are stuff that wouldn't really impact how I play the game in the first place anyways, so *shrug*

that said I still don't know if I'm going to get Sword/Shield or not, as Pokemon has never been one of my higher priorities or close to being one of my favorite franchises.

Twilight Princess isn't one of my favorite Zeldas, but it's still damn good.

The first character that came to mind for me was Osmosis Jones.

I haven't played the Switch version yet, but yeah Mario characters existed in the original. Goombas, Pirahna plants, Wart, Kirby, the Picture of Peach, the frog dude (Richard was his name I believe?), Bow Wow all were in the original GB and GBC versions.
