Upon finding out that Catboy blames all his mental illness on his parents divorce, I asked him how old he was when his parents split. I was assuming he was between 8-12 years old because he was acting like it was a world shattering event.

Imagine my surprise when tells me that he was 32. This dude is claiming that his parents divorce when he was 32 years old is so life shattering that he can't get a job, can't go to college, can't leave his house.

I laughed at him so hard that he left the server and blocked me.

Is catboy even still relevant on CE? I dunno, but I felt like sharing this story cause it was hilarious to me lol.

I remember a lot of details yet can't find it. It starts off with a child grabbing a cross with Jesus on it on the ground outside, the child returns to a group of people. Then a crowd of old people show up and sit on some benches. A man and woman begin to put on a show. She pretends to be a bull with metal horns on her head, and he pretends to be a matador. It's all fun and games until the girl looks like she's being possessed and then stabs the man in the stomach. He's dying and the crowd of old people are throwing coins onto the ground while the woman mourns the loss of this man she seemingly killed. The rest of the performers group of people collect the coins without much care to what happened.

Does anyone remember this video? I can't recall the name or artist or any lyrics and it's driving me crazy.

From what I've heard, the twist is something the audience cannot solve on their own. It's one of those mystery movies where they give you a twist based off information they never gave you.

Watchmen(The Comic) was great. First let's look at it on the surface, it's a dark and gritty telling of vigilantism with a great story and a little mystery. We got to see for the first time how American politics affect "Superheroes". We're following the events of vigilantes solving the murder of the comedian among a world on the brink of mutually assured destruction by nuclear warfare. In the process we learn about these vigilantes and what makes them who they are and what they do. And by the end of this comic, we're forced to confront the question of "Do the ends justify the means?."

Now that's just a brief surface level analysis of the comic, we could go all night into it, could even talk about how it may represent sexual repression.

So then we have the television show which butchers our original characters legacies and turns the show into yet another battle against white supremacy. This is what we're led to believe happens after the comics? People go from fearing nuclear warfare and alien attacks to white supremacy? Seriously?

Why attach the Watchmen name if you're just doing to do your own thing? I don't get it.

I'm thoroughly convinced that people who like this show didn't actually read the comics. Because I don't see how fans of Watchmen could actually like what they are doing to it...

I honestly stopped watching FIM after the conclusion of Season 3. Twilight becoming a Princess kinda ruined the show for me, but only because something that momentous should have been a movie. In fact, really big, life changing events in the show seems to happen in just any old episode which is my major complaint.

I stopped watching successively after Season 3's conclusion, but I legitimately stopped watching any new episodes period when the Cutie Mark Crusaders got their cutie marks in some throwaway ep. I was done at that point. I caught the series finale, because I had to, but anything before and after the CMC getting said cutie marks? Nope.
