I don't remember being grounded. I did get spanked a couple times, mostly cause I was throwing a wicked tantrum.

I worked at a dog day care place that had just opened up. Job itself was easy as shit, just supervise playful dogs and after an hour they all went to sleep and I just sat there getting paid to pet them. But the owner was a monster bitch. If an employee would make the smallest of mistakes, instantly fired. She didn't train anyone how to do anything, I was there for 2 months (got fired because my mom was in the hospital and I couldn't make it to work) and I never learned how to use the cash register. She allowed 2 aggressive Boxers to be boarded, isolated them with a "tough, older dog that will put them in their place", and fired a tiny female employee for hesitating to break up a big fight between the dogs. There was one time she completely freaked out at me because her puppy was sleeping among other sleeping dogs and for some insane reason she thought it was dead. There was also a rule within the company that you needed 1 employee per 30 dogs, and at one point I had to supervise 70 dogs by myself (luckily, most were older or smaller dogs that I didn't need to keep much of an eye on).

Probably one of the dumbest jobs I had. Sadly, it payed decently well and I needed the money at the time, otherwise I would have told her off many a time.

I've seen too many where they are just recording themselves sleeping, or eating, or doing some trivial everyday shit. Apparently people watch that stuff, though.

Deciding to put my 13 and a half year old dog to sleep. It was the right choice, her hips gave out and she couldn't walk anymore, and her mind was going away, but it's still terribly hard to decide to end the life of someone you love, it's always going to pop up in your mind "did I do the right thing?" even if you know objectively that you did.

My buddies who saw it all enjoyed it, and all said it was much better than TLJ. I'm going to trust them more than people on the Internet who seem to have devoted their entire lives to hating a popcorn flick.

I could, but I don't want to work the hours. The people getting that at my company are working massive amounts of overtime, most are divorced, never see their kids, hardly see the light of day. I'm pretty happy with my limited hours making decent livable income.

I think people get excited for it because the potential for awesomeness is there but usually falls flat. It has amazing music, diverse characters both alien and human, ancient mystical powers, badass lightsaber fights, epic space dogfights and wars, unique technology, tells a decent "good guys overcoming evil" storyline; but, then what you usually get between that is some annoying characters made to sell toys, characters that don't live up to their potential, storylines that kind of fall flat, etc.

I remember the trailer for the first Star Wars prequel. As a kid, all I saw was "holy shit! Pod racing! Badass villain with double lightsaber! Look at this big ass army swooping in to wreck shit! Look at those special effects!" Then you see the real movie and you're just like...fuck.

The only time I ever shop on Amazon is Christmas shopping, cause I'm a lazy fuck. Generally, that ends up being in the $200 - $300 range.

I used to work in a movie theater. 90% of the staff is teenagers paid minimum wage, they don't give a shit what customers do, generally. On a busy day, you see so many people that it's pretty hard to pinpoint a specific person movie hopping, unless you really stand out in some way. Usually the only theaters we would check were rated R movies that appealed to underage teenagers (something like Deadpool).

It might be harder to do now that more theaters are adopting a reserved seating type of system.

I enjoyed my time with it and I was entertained through the whole film. It wasn't a perfect movie by any means, I have my little criticisms, but I liked it.

Does WWE even do stories anymore? The only thing I saw was two cuckholding stories at once. Other than that, I think they just run "me want title" stories occasionally.

I had economics in HS, and had one class where they taught us some basic finance stuff, like how to budget and how to write a check (back when people still used checks). I took personal finance in school. Most everything I learned though was just reading a personal finance book or two.

I wish there were an all of the above option. They all seem equally ridiculous. A lot of this stuff is what makes me feel like an old man now that just doesn't understand the youth of today.

Just own the fact that you're stealing and that you're a thief instead of doing some weird mental gymnastics to excuse your guilty conscience.

Ehh...this is a weird story, but if the kids walked in on her then I think the punishment is too severe...the only thing that makes it debatable is that she refused to put her shirt on and told the father to expose his penis...I don't know how to feel about it.

This isn't the same as breastfeeding, that usually involves very young children with their biological mother in a natural act, this women kept her breasts exposed to her older stepchildren as she was washing off.

As long as you can live on a lower wage, taking more money for more stress never seemed worth it to me. I have a mindlessly easy job that pays semi-decent, that has flexible hours and gives me a good amount of free time. I could easily get another job that pays about triple what I make now, but it's much more hours, much more stress, and just about every guy that works it gets divorced and never sees their family but hey, the money is good.

Fuck that, call out sick. No one wants to work with a sick coworker, and a coworker calling off sick for one or two days is less of a disaster than one who gets everyone sick. A sick coworker is going to be fatigued, unfocused, and unproductive anyways.

Yeah, that aspect of it really sucks. There was one game I bought and didn't play much of so I uninstalled it, then all my friends were playing it one Saturday and I couldn't join because it was going to take me like 4 or 5 hours to install the game again.

WWE is a huge corporation that's been in the business for decades, and they recently had their HiaC main event booed out of the building and left their wrestlers stranded in a foreign country...I think a little botch here and there from the competition isn't too bad.

I don't even know what a millennial is anymore. Growing up, I think they referred to my generation as either X or Y; I never heard the term millennial until well past the 2000s and then suddenly I learn that's my group. But, it seems like the media still calls even young kids millennials still and my generation has almost nothing in common with kids under 20 years old (mid-30s here).

I used to use my debit card a lot until I realized I was getting no substantial rewards from it. I've got the Chase Freedom and Freedom Unlimited now and that's pretty much the only way I pay. I like it a lot more too because now I can see just how much I spend a month, while with my debit card I just see my money go down. If you can pay it off every month, I think it's the way to go.

I don't know how you can do that. I lost my job in 2008 right when the economy was going to crap and I couldn't find work for 6 months; playing video games and consuming media just got tedious and made me feel like a lazy pile of shit. Working sucks but grinding away at games for little reward sucks just as much.

I used to get some back in the day, but now every woman in existence has a premium SnapChat and all that bullshit that they just try to peddle on me now. Women have the advantage where they know they can get thirsty guys to pay, while dudes just send their dick for free.

As much as I love my dog, I agree that people take it way too far when they anthropomorphize their pet into a child. I know this one woman who wants to throw her dog a birthday party when it turns a year old, I'm talking like a birthday party a kid would have with cupcakes and a party and shit. We had to remind her that dogs don't give two shits about birthdays or how old they are.

I agree. I don't think it was a bad movie, but I have zero interest in movies dealing with the mob. I recognize that they are good films, but the subject material just bores me.

When a news item is presented only as a video with no article or text. I don't know why, I'd rather read news than watch a video clip, feel like it's just faster to get the info I want.

As long as both parties are 18 and over and are consenting adults, I don't give a shit about the age difference. When I met my girlfriend, I was 28 and she was 22, no one gave a shit. Back in the 2000s, I hated the 2000s. Hip hop dominating music annoyed me as a rock fan, every dude did that bleached blonde spiked hair look, everything to me felt like a generic version of what was great in the 90s, games were getting obsessed with being "dark and gritty"...but now, almost a decade later, I do miss the 2000s. I love jamming to the music now, the movies are fun to watch, etc. Still like the 90s more, though.

I work in the heat, it's been fucking torture this week, but it doesn't look like it's going to touch 120 like it did last year and the year before. Anything above 110+ is pretty hard, but anything below that isn't too bad. And most of us survive by staying inside all day in the AC, except the nutjobs that go "lol 114 degrees at 2 pm, perfect time to go hiking and die!".

I felt bad for her. Kid got a lot of hate for a stupid song; it was catchy, though, I was singing it a bit yesterday still.

Not for individual use, but the girlfriend and I have bought toys to play with, for use on both of us. We don't really care for any of them though, we get bored of them quick and just jump to sex.
