FYI, Mewtwo is a low tier in Melee while Pikachu is a high tier. Pikachu and Fox have the best tier placements across all the Smash games.

Farfetch'd is reasonably popular for a Pokemon that is absolutely garbage in battle. A lot of people like the samurai duck design.

Krabby and Kingler have a pretty cool showing in Ash's first Pokemon League battle ever. Although, I'm not sure how many people will remember that these days.

Lickitung was an anime main character, though the writers often forgot about him. Tangela appeals to fetishists. Magmar reminds people of the Magmar vs. Charizard anime fight.

Pwhhhhhh at 18% of the voters in today's poll. There's plenty of great VGM! The Pokemon orchestra concert I went to was fun. The unfortunate thing is that most of the great video game music is in games that aren't very popular, though, and thus they will never see the light of day in an orchestral concert...

I think Capcom said in 2017 that a new Ace Attorney would be out on Switch eventually, but I'm guessing I'm misremembering since we only have the Trilogy on it. Either that or websites were speculating in the middle of their articles without having proof (possible, since we have entire articles on 4chan rumors these days for some fucking reason).

The original Japanese source, which was a statement from the CAPCOM Chief Operating Officer, now 404s and I didn't transcribe it at the time I wrote an article on the topic. ( https://www.koopatv.org/2017/11/ace-attorney-coming-to-nintendo-switch.html ) Whoops. All I wrote was that some kind of Ace Attorney presence would release on the Switch within "a year or so" of late 2017, which was approximately true.

I'll note that I never said the executive said the game will be new, but that I said a nameless FAKE NEWS journalist (might be Laura Kate Dale IIRC) started a rumour that there would be a port of the first Trilogy to Switch, the second Trilogy to Switch, and Ace Attorney 7.
