I've taken a couple and I think it was usually because it was the only option available for a class I needed to graduate. My problem is I'm a huge slacker so if an assignment is due at midnight Saturday then I'm starting at 11. I'm way more inclined to go to a physical class and learn the material or participate in the activity to learn. Not really sure how you can adjust your teaching for that though.

See, this is where different strokes for different folks comes in. To me, that's way to huge of a dungeon. With some traps and a puzzle, my crew will take 3 hours to go through a dungeon with 4 rooms. One night, one task. Get into the bank vault and bring me the Magic Ruby. Then since that one task can have so many wildly different results, I don't plan the next encounter until after.

Different people like different levels of role playing too. The group I'm with barely role plays and is more focused on the combat side of things. There's no wrong way to play D&D. If you watch the Penny Arcade stuff, Jerry is a fucking word-wizard but when Mike fills in, not so much, and they play Mario Kart in D&D.

I'm IT for a mortgage company and yeah it sucks. Best advice I can give is to find a loan officer you can actually talk to and like (at least as far as you can like an LO) so you can have things explained to you or have an advocate in case things go wrong.

And for the love of Pete, have access to a scanner so you can send in docs whenever requested instead of taking a picture with your phone.

As soon as you throw in "video editing" or "gaming", the cost for good goes up several fold (because of things like graphics cards, better screens, and cooling). I got my mom a 15 inch Lenovo with an i3 and a 256 SSD from Best Buy for $279 and that will be super quick for all of her web browsing and solitaire needs.

Also, their returns page doesn't say anything about returning product opened for a lesser refund or being charged a restocking fee, which is also concerning to me.

14 days is fine for me because I would literally receive the item and immediately try it. But compared to say Walmart with 90 day return period on clothing and shoes it's not a good start.

Because, like with clothes or shoes, you can know your sizes and measurements every which way but because of different manufacturing processes, you don't know how it will actually fit until you try it.

Because I get free shipping to me and even at 1 in 4 items sold being returned, eating that cost should be factored in cost of doing business.

I get it, it's a "mom and pop" operation and they're trying to maximize profit. I'm still grumpy and I'll probably buy from them anyway.
