Right, because Japan is such a big industry by itself that jpop groups have never made any effort to expand outward, and in fact jpop companies have gone out of their way to make consuming jpop outside of Japan nearly impossible though they are easing up on that. For the longest time Jpop MVs werent even uploaded to youtube and its incredibly hard to find any subbed content because the companies basically get everything taken down.

The Korean market is small and so the Korean government and kpop companies have gone out of their way to push kpop to any and everywhere it can, and make content accessible.

Kpop no doubt has a wider reach than Jpop but theres only more money in kpop if youre one of the very few groups that get extremely popular in both Korea itself AND some market outside Korea, which is literally only a handful of the top of the top kpop groups. Twice only got as big as they did because of Japan, BTS because of America, BP because of SEA, etc... They are exceptions rather than the norm, so many kpop groups barely (if ever) actually make money.

On that topic, JYP is doing another competition show for another girl group. Except this time it's all Japanese and some of them resemble the twice girls a bit lol.

Makes me wonder just how much more money/impact there is in Kpop compared to Jpop if these girls would rather make an all j Kpop group than just make one in Japan lol

Nizi isnt going to be a kpop group though, they may have more kpop influences than other jpop groups due to being partly under JYP but they are a J-pop group technically, just like JYP made a C-pop boy group that only promotes in China

Also the Japanese market is several times bigger than the Korean market, its 2nd to the US in terms of biggest music markets in the world, thats why kpop companies push their groups to go promote in Japan (and basically anywhere else they feasibly can) while Japanese groups have never bothered with reaching out to other markets

I know YG confirmation doesn't mean it'll actually happen when they say it will but the fact that a new gg is even on their radar is crazy considering the circumstances.

But I guess they gotta get out their ITZY/SM new gg rival asap if they wanna compete.

Apparently YG;s going to debut a new girl group this year, despite the fact that Blackpink still only has 13 original songs >_>

BP and Twice are virtually tied for #1, an argument could be made either way, IZ*ONE has the strongest case for being next in line (and not all that far back as of late) followed by Red Velvet, Mamamoo, Gfriend.

They're basically a lock for the American KCONs but they almost certainly aren't gonna tour or promote here, they've only got a year left and their focus is pretty locked on Korea and Japan/Asia

Basically means they're completely unknown to the general public in Korea/anyone who doesn't hardcore follow Kpop.

These underwear companies know they won't be able to get actually popular girl group members for this type of stuff anymore so they usually scout for girls from unpopular groups. It's surprising that it took so long to get her.

She should be going at the company not the group itself.

Yeah I personally saw the clock counting down when Pat Stares At became a side thing because he barely has to put effort into anything.

Pat literally bought a house to be closer to their office, and this was way after he started streaming and right before the channel collapsed, and he still brought his A game to every LP he was in right to the end, his side shit isnt what lead to the end of the channel. Matt was doing side streams way before Pat started then Matt decided to completely check out of every LP he was a part of and barely ever showed for the Podcast and phoned that in when he did bother to show up.

Matt was literal cancer in everything he participated in once Liam left, all his LP's were horrible and if he even bothered to show up to the podcast it was always weak episode as hed spend the whole time on his phone without engaging in anything. Remember when Pat surprised the guys with news that he bought a house and Matt couldnt even be assed to be even slightly cordial for 2 seconds and congratulate him?

LP's are more work for less money, especially for Pat who's dropped Youtube completely for Twitch. It was actually that if a viewer falls in love with a streamer and then she rejects him it would be justified for that viewer to kill her. Also dudes already been to Korea looking for her multiple times, this has been going on for months, not sure why its only getting attention now

Aight got it. Made my way down. Killed horse dude. Did the rats sidequest. Also got the dragonstone tear thing that heals dragonrot but it says I need the recovery charm. Should I use the dragonstone right away or best to wait? I've got 3 people with dragonrot atm

All dragonrot really does is stops you from progressing the NPC's sidequest/storyline if they have one, despite how the game makes it sound they cant die or anything so unless your actively doing their quest it doesnt really matter, you can wait to cure them

I was ~5-8 levels below him with all my pokes on set battle style and it wasnt really a challenge

Sword dance is amazing but much better used against a single target then splitting up the hits against a group, never really used kazap myself but it would probably be the best option for aoe without investing heavily into regualr swords, yeah. But really as a greatswords user basically every turn you should be using Unbridled blade or sword dance, let others cover aoe when needed

Generally only the regular sword "Giga" moves are worth it since they hit the whole field, not just a single group.

Greatswords are best when used for single target damage anyway, switch to swords or use other members for aoe stuff

never really felt like i needed omniheal often enough and his multiheal was healing enough to keep everyone else going, in the case where i really needed it Hero had it just in case. endgame debuffing enemies is better than buffing since a bunch of bosses start dispelling your buffs anyway, a sap on a single enemy is basically like an oomphle on all your attackers, if you can get slyv to actually oomphle your guys on top of it and it sticks for a few turns even better. He also had the attack debuff but i cant remember the name (which again, is equivalent to 2 kabuffs technically). But yeah kamikazee in Harma was helpful.

Never really used Rab as an offensive unit, only for healing and sap, if you want offensive magic Veronica is the clear way to go, though she was relegated to just channeling anger then magic bursting in the first two turns of a boss fight then switching out for the rest of the fight in my playthrough

grinding to forge weapons? to get levels and raise focus or for materials? level ~65-70 should be enough focus to forge anything in the game

The Sniflheim, or rather Hekswood part isn't all that hard it just has a requirement similar to the peurto valor quest in that you have to finish the boss off with a certain type of move which can get annoying if you aren't careful or get a Crit at a bad time

Puerto valor quest expands slyvando and eights skill trees it's not a hard quest just a bit annoying.

Nautica didn't give anything good from what I remember

If you want any sort of challenge out of the final story boss either do it ASAP or don't dispel it's aura, shit melted in a few rounds at level 70 with the aura dispelled
