I should be ready for Valefor since I have Noel, Squall and Laguna Awakenings and Laguna chain, and glints for Squall and Laguna and Noel's enice USB. Still I kinda want to pull for Squall's synchro even though I should save my mythril for the realm banner refresh. That's more important so I can get anima lens+ to get Squall's hero ability.

So this week's 6* magicite is Hecatoncheir, I haven't fought that guy in a long time since his magicite is pretty bleh and his third phase is the worst, but I have new wind stuff I can try on him (and Titan)

She's the easiest 6* magicite so far, or at least the least stressful. No major gimmick or OP damage, only trouble she really gives is she uses the Infinity Bind pretty early in Phase 3, but other than that just stall in phase 1, build enfire stacks with glints, use Tyro USB4 and Elara USB2 and she gets wrecked.

Elara Awakening is easily worth 100 mythril IMO. Especially if you're going to fight Ifrit.

That's true only Elara has 6* record board right now. But the increased damage from pain can still kill a character quick, you have to eat 4000/6000 fixed damage then one of the pillars, then one of Ifrit's painful attacks since he's pretty fast too. My Elara has 10,913 HP, but she still can die pretty quick regardless. Penelo's dance chase heal/Strago's LM2/Elara's bard heal LMR are more important to cover the damage than the raw max HP IMO. Unless characters start getting into the 20000's where they can shrug off the fixed damage which is why I said 7* motes, not 6*.

Two healers is almost mandatory, you're going to take a lot of pain, and not just the status effect. Heck you can almost count Strago as a third healer thanks to his LM2.

But I finally got my fourth one! Thank god I never have to do this RNG disaster again! I don't even think powercreep will make this guy easy, at least not until we get more max HP through like 7* motes or something.

Wow for the first time besides the long 5* magicite gap between Odin and 6* I think I'm up to date with all current magicite. Also I almost forgot to do my dream select for Awakenings, I definitely don't need Strago's anymore, I think I'll get Seifer's for Alexander.

Xezat having a renewable enice soul break is extremely valuable in 6* magicite, no matter how crummy his USB is. And like I said before there's not many spellbladers who have enice. Or physical ice in general. Like you get Noel for sharpshooter (and Fran but she only gets enice through her awakening and LMR, so diffusion is gonna really annoy her) Snow, Josef and Eight for ice monks and Ayame for ice samurai. Looking at that list Xezat doesn't even seem that bad.

I got my second Ifrit magicite this morning, ugh this fight is still an RNG nightmare. I had to slog through the third phase without any awakening since I use Gogo's to get through the first phase and most of phase 2, and Meia used Lunar Leviathan under awakening when Ifrit entered his third phase, so she killed all the pillars by herself and died, but I still had Elara's awakening in reserve so I could revive her, thankfully most of Ifrit's attacks in phase 3 are piercing, and the ones that aren't are so painful you will use a medica SB anyway, thank god none of his attacks in that phase are five digit!

I don't they are unless it's a boss you're having a really hard time breaking savage mode on.

Also if you're feeling daring enough to beat a 6* Magicite their passive makes 5* Magicite dampens almost obsolete if you don't want to beat around the bush.

Well yeah that's because that DPS relic came out nearly a year after Manticore debuted.

Try fighting him without a chain, artifacts, synchros and awakenings. That's how I beat him the first four times, and it sure as hell wasn't easy.

These week's 5* magicite mission is Manticore. I remember how frustrating this boss was and how I never wanted to fight him again after I got 4 of his magicite, but now I'm sub 20ing him with a level 30 Ifrit magicite.

I'm starting to wonder if my 5* magicite best times are better than my 4* magicite best times.

That would be Penelo. Even with two healer Awakenings I still had to bring the healing RW, that's how bad this boss is.

I have Awakenings for Gogo and Meia, but not Strago. I don't think it would have been to much help anyway since the only way Strago can enwater is through his BSB or Awakening, I have to use both his OSB and AOSB at the right times.That said Awakenings (and dualcast LMRs) are really risky to because of their dualcasts, if you kill a pillar with one cast the second cast could kill another pillar and that character will take a lot of damage from the painflares. But Awakening's 15 seconds is only so much when you have to be careful about attacking the pillars. Glints were extremely valuable in this fight because they only cast once, so use them to kill pillars if your character's awakening is active.

You can't rush Ifrit down because he'll use his own painflare when he reaches a certain HP%, the more pillars the more the worse the attack is (if all 4 are there they're an instant KO!)

Good GOD was this fight infuriating!! It's by far the most anti-meta fight so far, and maaan was it tense! I also did the AOSB dream select earlier to get Meia's AOSB for this fight, and it paid off!

I also got Quina LMR (the last stand one), Luneth AOSB and Vincent chain from the grab bag. Finally I get Vincent's chain after hoping for it for two years now!

I beat ice weak Odin with only Squall Awakening and Rinoa bUSB, though I have Laguna's chain.

I also have both their AOSBs as well which are extremely valuable in the third phase.

Hybrid teams are fine for Odin, especially summons since they have high multipliers. You don't need to worry about enelement for now, that's 6* magicite's gimmick.

I would not start with water weak Odin though. He combines Phoenix's speed with Belias' damage. It'd be easier to start with earth, holy or ice weak Odin.

Dark Odin is a pretty big leap over 5* Magicite, so don't feel discouraged if you can't beat him right away.

Last ticket gave me Qustis OSB and Arnea USB. Both new but at the same time mostly worthless. At least 10+ magic on Quistis is nice.

Ark's savage mode increase the damage he takes so a chain isn't necessary, well unless you plan to use Alphinaud's Awakening which will break it.

You can also get Minwu's ability double USB from Anima lens.

Typhon is a raw DPS fight, the faster you kill him the easier he becomes, and breaking his savage mode as well, which was very hard to do back in the day because there was no ice magic OSBs and the only consistent way was with Mateus magicite or Rinoa's ice Brave.

If you have a summoner awakening (or Terra/Ashe Awakening/Sync) use Valigarmanda under a chain and it should break his savage mode pretty easily.

Well I got Leviathan to level 99 and fully inherited, I tried fighting Ifrit. Ugh this fight is a headache so far. You have to be really careful with how you attack those pillars, so dualcast LMRs are too risky to use, but at the same time it makes the first phase a slog because he has too much HP! I got about halfway but seems like something always goes wrong so far, he either does insane damage (or I'm stalling too long that wall wears off) Gogo dualcasts on the pillars and kills himself, or too many characters get beserk'd (which is fucking stupid to have in a fight that's already this micromanage mess, sadly Elara and Penelo don't have astra so I have to bring Ultra cure.)

Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. I'm calling it a night for now.

I think everyone inherits double health boon 8s on Titan, when you have him he's always going to be on your deck until you get more 6* magicite, so you might as well give him something that's going to be useful for every party.

You can also get Agrias Awakening from the 100 mythril/dream select, it destroys Deathgaze with imperil and infusion on entry and and imperil chase.

Also wrapping up most of the fifth anniversary events, I got all the record keeper archives done (also seeing Gogo V destroy Kefka is hilarious, I get this headcanon that Gogo isn't wrecking him to save the world, but to punish Kefka for not dressing up like a clown anymore) Can't seem to beat Zeromus with my water team yet, I just I have to stop being lazy with Leviathan and level him up to 99 since I can't seem to survive the overstrikes. Maybe that Porom USB I got earlier might be the trick.

All of deathgaze's attacks are piercing so godwall is useless anyway. He doesn't do much damage either that some people don't even use healers.

Unless you plan on pulling on the next FFT banner Orlandeau will be at a huge disadvantage against Diabolos due to his lack of infusion.

I know you can get Bartz Awakening from the gift (and dream select) but I wanted it moreso for the Phantasm which is a long time away. I already beat Titan and Ramuh, I'll probably go mage for Ifrit and I have Jecth and Vincent awakenings for Shiva. It was moreso hoping I'd get from the focus draw so it'd save me a dream select later, and Alexander is closer so I'm going to prioritize Sephiroth at the moment.

I got all the weekly Magicite missions done, decided to use the 6* motes on OK, since the FFIII Phantasm is one of the earlier ones and he can kill 5* Magicite bosses faster. I filled up the board to get the unique ability but I don't have any sapphires yet, I guess you have to wait until the fest events to get those.
