It's a tricky situation. I hope I die of natural causes at old age, but I also worry I won't have the financial means to sustain myself, at least for that long, especially since retirement could very well completely be a thing of the past by then. I sometimes ponder the thought that in such a case euthanasia might perhaps be preferable than rotting away in some street alley, begging for scraps.

The Last Jedi happened

This, as TLJ was literally the first SW movie that made me not care about a sequel at all. The fact that Palpatine is back in TRoS decreased my hopes even further. Rogue One and Solo both being mediocre at best didn't help either.
I'm not planning on watchTRoS in cinema at all. Maybe when it's available to watch without having to pay to see that specific movie, I'll go watch it.

I have one older half sister, though we always refer to each other as brother and sister. When we were growing we couldn't stand and terrorized the shit out of each other. Then after we had both moved out to places of our own, we gradually hung out and talked every now and then, and realized we actually had a lot of common ground, because we had gone through similar hardships.
Nowadays I consider her to be one of my best friends.

I liked the few seconds between Rey & Kylo having killed Snoke and his guards, and Kylo's suggestion. That was the one moment when I was on the edge of my seat like "Holy shit, this could go in literally any direction now. Maybe they'll actually go for true balance between light & dark".

That moment was cut short by Kylo going like: "we should just destroy everything, starting with the Resistance"

What caused the break up, if you dont mind me asking? I only wonder because depending on that, it could be anywhere from an ok situation to hell...

Various things that piled up, among which were sexual incompatibility, not being able to provide each other's needs, a sense of unfair division of financial and domestic responsibilities and her wanting to bang a guy from abroad she met online.
The fact that we live in a crappy apartment in a crappy neighbourhood didn't help.

On most days we get along well enough not to get into a fight, but even when the situation relaxed a little and we even joke around a bit, I get the urge to cuddle/kiss her, and then I think: "Oh wait, we're not like that anymore." Those moments suck the most.
Right now, both of us have the priority of moving out to our own seperate places, as neither of us can afford the apartment we're currently in on our own. Meanwhile, I'm trying to spend as much time out of the house as possible.

Russia's actions like these make it pretty apparent to the world what sort of political parties/movements tend to stagnate countries (so that mother Russia has less competition and hindrance in trying becoming a superpower).

i would definitely recommend playing through the series if you never have before, but be aware that Dragon Age II is one of the most disappointly poorly developed games that has ever been released.

I wouldn't say it's that terrible, it had it's moments. But it also had major flaws. It's not one of the worst games ever, but definitely the least good game in the DA series.

There's way too much filler, but parts of the game are pretty fun. I just wish the cast was better. Other than Dorian & Varric, I didn't really like the squad at all.

The part at the imperial palace in Val Royeaux? Yeah, that part reminded me a lot of Metal Gear Solid 4, chapter 3 (the boring stalking part), only slightly more interesting. Fortunately DA:I had more redeeming qualities than MGS4 imo.

Guy here, who feels it's easier to be friends with guys.
The fact that I'm bisexual might be relevant in my situation: I've had close male and female friends throughout my life. I got along with the other person great, as long as we kept things on a platonic level.
With both sexes it has happened that at same point either I or the other person developed non-platonic feelings toward the other, but never in a mutual sense, and at that point the close bond usually ended. This has occured literally every time with female friends, and only scarcely with male friends. This is a matter of pure statistics, but it it an example of how male friendships have worked out better for me so far.

Another factor is mutual understanding and having that kind of connnection almost any conceivable thing can be said, without having to worry you might inadvertently offend the other person or make them feel uncomfortable, maybe even get an empathetic response out of them. I've experienced this much, much more often with men than with women.

Then again, I also feel it's actually quite challenging for me to be platonic friends with a woman, even if I don't have sexual/romantic feelings toward them, mostly due to them assuming a man being consistently nice to them must mean that man has ulterior motives.
