Playing a Hideo Kojima game and complaining about the length of cutscenes is like going to the beach and complaining that there's too much sand. Quite the contrary, I'm not complaining about the length. I'm complaining about how boring they are in conjunction with how dumb the story is. And when it's long and dumb, boy does it suck. And then I start walking. For fifteen minutes. I just walk. And then I watch a forty minute cutscene that makes no sense. Then I wake up. Then I walk some more. Then I watch another forty minute cutscene. The I walk while carrying something. Then I run from monsters. Then I walk. Then I watch an hour long cutscene.
