And I could say this is some surprise but the signs were there, Kojima kept wasting Konami's funds with MGSV, and the game ultimately failed to live to expectations, and Peace Walker and MGS4 aren't on par with GS1-3 anyways. I hope Sony learned a costly lesson from this: Kojima is the George Lucas of gaming and only shines when other people have him on check. --- YoungMutual |

His popularity on GameFAQs is a extention to that, he befriended trolls and mods across several boards and kept posting half naked photos of himself and giving away money precisely because he craves the attention.
