Any numbers on gun sales during this period? You could just trade in some old, worn out gun via buyback and use that $ to cover at least a fraction of the cost for a newer gun.

Also,

and another 5,000 weapons as part of a parallel amnesty in which owners could hand over any type of firearm without any questions being asked but without getting compensated.

Which pretty much means that the government is going to do everything in their power to try and not pay you for your guns if they don't have to.

As someone who lives in a rural area, i agree... but i imagine there's at least a percentage of users on here who live in sheltered/gated communities and lack the ability to comprehend that someone might actually need small arms for protection.

It's because of SM that people aren't able to properly appreciate Fusion. SM is a legendary game for sure but because Fusion wasn't an exact copy of SM people hated Fusion. Fusion went the route of evolving the plot, character development and magnifying the horror aspect of the game and it went highly underappreciated and this triggers me greatly.

I feel like most people just forgot Armor Lock exists. Give it time. Once they remember, Reach's hype will normalize. I am not super hype for Reach, but i am looking forward to some 60 FPS custom games soon!

Although inverted song of time helps, i still feel like people don't understand that certain sections of the game will force you to set aside a huge chunk of time to complete it, like Zora Eggs. This is unlike nearly every other LoZ title, where you can just Save & Quit and actually keep your progress, allowing for both short & long gameplay sessions.

The thing i worry about is an abuser knowing that the call for pizza is actually a 911 call (if they saw it on Facebook), then escalating their abuse. Still, it's a clever system when done right. I hope there are other codes out there, in situations where the pizza code wouldn't work.

I would personally want more on than him but i'm sure he's got high end stuff too. I put on a full facemask for under 20 when i go out riding in the woods in the winter.

Back in college, some of the faculty there had done research down in Antarctica. Pretty neat stuff! One story I heard from one guy is that he'd go to bed with an empty water bottle, so if he did have to urinate in the middle of the night, he wouldn't have to leave the warmth of his sleeping bag to do so...

No idea if this is actually common practice, or if he was just pulling my leg.

Having your fluids sweat our of you from being outside 2 minutes isn't fun, especially if you have to work outside. I also don't like fucking 80 degree nights. Depending on the humidity, it can be hard to breathe.

This is true. Dehydration can be a serious concern, too (despite -40F wind chills during winter, summer can get up to 100F up here, although 90F is more common).

Honestly, this. I want to see people "just layer up" when it gets to -40F wind chill. You're still miserably cold, even with layers. The layers are the difference between miserably cold and fatally cold.

Also, driving during winter can be a pain. Vehicles can be difficult to start if you have to leave them outside and you can't plug in your block heater. In addition, snow covered or icy roads lead to more highway accidents. It also gets darker much quicker, which increases your odds of hitting a deer... as well as poor visibility when combined with blowing snow.

As far as Outskirts Jackal Snipers go, they're a pain in the ass, but they can be defeated.

The first courtyard with Johnson is basically a warm up. He is invincible and has a sniper of his own, so let him try to kill a few snipers, or at least point them out to you.

Before Johnson leaves via Pelican, take his Sniper Rifle from him and give it to one of your marines. Arm a 2nd marine with the sniper stashed in that alcove. Arm a 3rd marine with a beam rifle, but only do so if there's still a beam rifle left for you.

The first Alley has 6 snipers, one of which you can get the drop on immediately with your BR. From there, it's a bit of luck, but your marines will help to draw fire away from you... as dumb as it sounds, it takes 2 beam rifle shots to kill them, but only 1 to kill you. Their health can recharge, much like your shields. They sure as hell won't win the battle for you, but they can give you some breathing room.

The alley after that has about 5 jackal snipers, but it is spaced out a bit and you get semi frequent checkpoints. Try to kill the first 3 ASAP, then kill the last two before a checkpoint.

yeah, that room where you first find the Guass Warthog has infinitely spawning snipers, with 3-4 already in place. You literally cant fight in this section because the next room has Wraith/Ghosts and 2 snipers, and a opening for you to get shot by the 1st rooms snipers

I think my trick for that was to try and kill the pre-loaded snipers asap, ignore the guass hog's first pass, kill more snipers, jump down on the guass hog's second pass, order Stacker to bail, enter the driver seat, honk my horn to get Stacker on the gun, then get the hell out of that first room... unless Chief or Stacker gets sniped at any point during all of that, then LOL, reload checkpoint.

I'll have to check out some of the recommendations in this topic! I am a novice to Slayer. Aside from the obvious song picks like Raining Blood and Seasons in the Abyss, the only Slayer album I have is their 1st album, Show no Mercy. It's a pretty kickass album, although I imagine they dial in on their signature sound an album or two later.

Good picks. As much as I want to love it, Egg Bomb is pretty bad, too. 100BP but only 70 accuracy. The only pokemon to get stab on it are Chansey & Blissey (abysmal physical attackers), and Exeggutor has better moves it could be using. Not to mention, Return mostly makes Egg Bomb obsolete (perhaps Egg Bomb is non-contact, at least?)

EDIT: The best part is that it's actually TM37 in RBY... well, at least you get a free TM for it in the Safari Zone, so it's a move you can give to Exeggcute that's better than Barrage.
