Gonta getting set up for murder and then execution really got to me. I think I cried during the sequence near the end of the trial when Kokichi explodes and starts yelling at Gonta and other people. Really good voice work from Kokichi's actor in that moment.

I don't feel like it's a spoiler to say this... since it was made clear in the pre-release of this game, and I want to set your expectations. This is a new universe of danganronpa. Danganronpa 3 was the end of the Hope's Peak storyline. Hence why this is V3. They didn't want to be tied down to that expanding story arc anymore

Don't see town IGCD doing this. Town IGCD doesn't think so highly of his potential contributions that he's going to end the day pre-emptively to ensure he's allowed to have them. Town IGCD just accepts that he won't be able to read everything and lets the day play out.

Considering we're looking 2 scum laying themselves down to kill the SK, a third hammering it just to be absolutely sure doesn't seem too weird to me.

I've also felt his suspicions to feel a bit bussy. Like he's very sure about the lynches based on not much perceived thinking on his end.

Why do you think two scum would lay down their lives to kill SK when just one scum in Chris was more than good enough? That's why I think Lea is probably town

The likeliest is that you as scum tried to do something that was so scummy that it couldn't be scum.

Look, I've seen scum Ben before and he's far more crafty and dangerous than Ben is here. Scum Ben puts far more care into his play than Ben has today. He really isn't scum here.

What's an example of Scum Ben craftiness that's different from this? Lopen isn't saying he pulled a Sultan, the accusation is triple WIFOM.

Faking a scan on scare also to not just save Chris but to try and direct the Lynch to a specific person as well? That's where the wheels fall off as a town Gambit.

I was clearly not being serious about the scan. That's why I threw two crazy claims into one post, to make both less believable. I had already said earlier that more than a tracker+watcher would be too much for town, so I was never planning to stick with having a scan on Scare

Also I'd say chances of Scare being scum seem low when looking at the lynches today. If people actually bite on Scare the game is basically over since I don't feel Ben or Lea get enough town cred from it to avoid a lynch.

Then again the whole strategy of Ben has been "scum would not do such a thing" so maybe Scare being the last scum would be as expected. I dunno.

Oof. That was embarrassing. I still think the reasoning for killing Chris was generally non-existent outside of people being mad he urged us to hammer Ulti, so I'll take that as confirmation he was fully bussed by the scum team and thrown to the dogs day 3. Which really makes Corrik even scummier since he is trying to take the full advantage of killing Chris to confirm himself town and go hard after me - the one person who was ever defending him. I also think Corrik is scum bulletproof, not town. Reason being, there was a serial killer. Scum would need a counter to that.

Scare also has my "he's scum" gareuntee. So I'll still go for him even though I don't expect anyone to listen to me for the horribly wrong opinion of Chris I've had this game.

It was pretty damn strong considering Sultan died within 24 hours. Now where did this "mentality" break down? What was the master plan that the three of us were supposed to have? Sultan could have been town in scum's eyes

I'd rather give Lea the benefit of the doubt too. I don't see why either of a scum Chris or Lea would put their reputation on the line to lynch a town Sultan. The real scum are just saying to kill Chris and giving little to no logical reason for it (like Scare).
