For this, it's possible to complete cases without doing everything, but you need to do everything to achieve a perfect score.
If I realized I missed something, I want to go back and do it. I don't want to finish the case and be forced to fumble through all the interrogations due to not having the correct evidence. (Regardless of whether it's still possible to "win") To me that feels like punishment for not doing things perfectly.

No, I stopped playing it during the first mission after you become a detective.

To try and be fair, it's basically an adventure / visual novel which isn't really my genre. Having said that, there are definitely some things the game could have improved upon or things I had issues with.

- hints are displayed while characters are talking or emoting. You're supposed to do it one at a time. First the hint then the dialogue, or vice versa.

- things like the following a suspect in the car (without driving too close) feels a little goofy/unrealistic and like a stereotypical videogame, and it's weird to have to do it when normally you can skip driving by just letting your partner drive. (Test Drive Unlimited 2 has missions like these, and I like them, but it's a racing game and the game is not story based and rather silly tonally. GTA series is also kind of tongue in cheek and heavily involves driving gameplay)

- if you realize that you missed a clue or forgot to interview someone when you had the chance, you can't go back and do it without having to restart the entire case from the beginning.

Too much detail is distracting. I think a lot of 7th gen games tried to be so saturated with detail, effects, bloom that it ends up being completely detrimental to the experience. (Making environments confusing, enemies harder to track, etc) Glad to see that 4K is more focused on reducing bluriness rather than filling every square inch with detail. Somehow the games seem more calming.

Not a bad thing you didn't have room for Black Ops 3. I was told it does not include a campaign unless it's the PS4/XBO version. I think it actually says online-only on the box.

Anyway, I was in a similar situation as you OP. I got a PS3 this year and wanted to give CoD a try, so I got the Modern Warfare Trilogy. Didn't really like it though, it's way too linear and flawed. I decided not to try any other CoD games as a result. That said, I voted Modern Warfare 3 because that one I actually kind of liked and it seemed that each mission was memorable.

If you haven't played FEAR 3 maybe check that out, I thought it was better than CoD.

Eating is a weird thing. The more you eat the more hungry you are. But if you deprive yourself a little bit your body stops craving food, like it entered fasting mode or something. Or is it just me?

Anyway, someone I know online said he used to be fat in high school but lost the weight by simply eating less. Perhaps it really is that simple.

We shouldn't judge others though. Upbringing can play a huge factor.

I've tried "meat"balls (plantballs?) once that were so similar to actual meat that it made me feel sick and I literally couldn't eat it.

Speaking of which the vegan meatballs occasionally found at WFM seem indistinguishable from animal based meatballs, but I wouldn't recommend eating them. Plant based meat can be hit or miss with me. I avoid almond milk and vegan ice cream as well. And beet burgers are just pathetic. But the good stuff tends to be REALLY GOOD imo. I've loved tofu dogs, basically anything asian, (mock duck, soy protein, etc) and the soy nuggets at WFM, and various seitan. These are probably not essential foods but I'll be damned if they aren't really enjoyable. Oh, and shiitake bacon / eggplant bacon are to die for. Those get extra points for not really being fake anything, just plant/fungus prepared a certain way.

I like bread, goes great with veggies or slaw, and very filling. But hardly seems like an essential food. It's dehydrating also (since it's basically a sponge) and makes me drowsy. I can probably never eat it again and my body won't miss it, if anything I'll probably be healthier. (Isn't it processed food, by the way?)

It's good to have it with food that has a lot of oil or broth since it absorbs some of it. But you might as well avoid those foods to begin with or just use another method like rice.

I took a great interest in this story. I like to think my diet is way better than his, but the thing is there's no way to really know. According to the article he appeared to be perfectly fine. So how does one really know if their diet is any better than his? I mostly just go by intuition and what feels right. I can tell if I'm lacking in something because I start craving it or by how much I liked it. (For example fruit tastes much better if you hadn't had any in a while, and not as good if you had plenty of it. So you can use this to gauge the right amount of something to have in your diet.) But who knows, in fifteen years I might end up like him. Eerie stuff.

I hate hate HATE the smell/smoke of barbecue. I can't even leave the window to the backyard because then the smell comes in and the entire apartment ends up smelling like it. Makes my hair stand on end. For me it has nothing to do with meat. Vegan or not you're setting things on fire outside other people's homes and windows. (and probably ruining air conditioners in the process) So everyone has to suffer through an odor cocktail of smoke, burnt charcoal and burnt bbq sauce. (Do people even manually extinguish the fire after they're finished cooking?) I've literally stopped walking past a certain block in my neighborhood because I walk past people's barbecue smoke and my clothes end up smelling like it when I get home. Anyway I feel sorry that the court ruled against her.

3. By putting lemons in, you'd introducing a lot of x factors such as the water being contaminated, the lemons going bad, or the internals or the spout becoming unsanitary. Or as was pointed out, it could become clogged.

If you're speedrunning then aren't you already not playing the game as the developers intended? Unless the game displays you final playtime at the end or has rewards for beating it faster, it could be said that you were never meant to rush through it.

I dunno guys. The "the way the developer intended" argument just seems like it extend to all sorts of things besides glitches, such as using invincibility frames to avoid taking damage from worse attacks, or a whole slew of other things. Might as well ban sequence breaking in general, the phrase itself implies that the devs had a specific sequence in mind and you've went against their intent by doing things in the wrong order. I heard a good way to get better at drawing is to draw the exact same thing multiple times in succession. This sounds like a great idea and I actually thought of the idea myself. (But rarely do it because I tend to jump around drawing different things before feeling burned out and deciding to take a break. I guess I have ADD or something lol) Because, just think of this, even if you draw pretty well, if you were to draw the same thing twice or more, each version would look invariably look slightly different. That's intriguing is it not? It's easier to spot those subtle differences that make it better so that you could emulate it in the future.

If you're not that good at drawing though then my advice is to absorb and surround yourself with drawings you like whether it be comic books or manga style artwork. (Or whatever floats your boat if it's neither of the above)

The state of things are so bad that I think people tune it out. Like our brains are just not conditioned to accept that something so horrible can be going on, unimpeded, on such a wide scale. If we see even a piece of it, we assume that it must be an isolated incident, (which is a common excuse doled out in defense of eating meat) and that the normal situation is much more idyllic. To me though that's like believing in Santa Claus.

We are kept far away from it for good reason. Things like ag gag laws and the like, and brilliant marketing.
