Like wow I experienced a lot in this decade. Lost virginity, finished college, first job, first alcohol, first girlfriend, released 1st album, made first friend as an adult, first apartment, and first car.

I lost a lot of my anxiety and became confident in myself discovering who I am. Amazing just amazing amounts of good music and games.
Topichonestly, is it that big a deal Billie Eillish doesn't know who Van Halen is?

Ok so there's a 40 year gap between Eilish and Van Halen. They are distinctly 2 different genres. It's like going back to 1979 and expecting Van Halen to know who Bill Monroe was. Idk they may know, but bluegrass and rock are different genres.

Besides, there's so much music today. How can a teenager even remotely expect to know all the major musical acts of the last 100 years.

Playstation 5 and Xbox Scarlett releasing
Youtube vastly changing
China implementing mandatory facial recognition
USA presidential election in 2020
VR and AR becoming popular
Self driving and electric cars becoming mainstream
Gen Z ushering in new wave of music, fashion, etc..
New Batman series, next huge Marvel phase, Avatar series, Matrix reboot
James Webb Space Telescope launch

I just get the sense that things will change pretty fast in next year or so.

She said it sounds rude to her but only because he dad does it. If I would have said same thing about a kindergarten teacher she wouldn't have even reacted. It's literally her insecurity which yeah she has a lot of.

Then she's being hypocritical because she said the very same thing earlier in day with job at Walmart.

I don't down anybody's job. A job is a job.

I understand that too. If anything, by me saying I can't do a job it's more self negative than being outright rude.

I tried to get under her brain. I even brought up she said something similar about working in Walmart. She didn't go to an interview because it was a salesperson in Walmart and now she has anxiety being at a Walmart.

Yeah exactly. She saidwhy did I have to make a comment like that and I'm not better than anybody. She got all defensive about it. She reacted like I said something bad against her dad.

I explained to her I don't think I can do that handling kids. It would give me anxiety and stress.

Well the job makes more than my job and it's more honorable of a job compared to my job at least by society. So that can't be an argument.

I was talking with my girlfriend and commented on her dad's job that I wouldn't be able to do that job. She then said why did I have to make that commment and that's rude. I was like WTF I'm just saying I don't think I would be able to do it. I then got upset and explained to her how me saying that is a common conversation.

Think of genres like action, drama, comedy, horror, western, thriller, musical, fantasy, sci-fi, romance, war, documentaries, crime, superhero, anime, etc...

Is it possible a new genre could come about that would be as big as these?
