An AR-15 does not function the exact same way an M-16/M4 despite the exact same appearances. The one that civilians can buy are semi-automatic, which fire every time the trigger is pulled. The one they CANNOT readily buy is able to fire on either 3 round burst or full auto and semi-automatic. --- "May your road lead you to warm sands."
