I played this game by total coincidence a few weeks ago. Wasn't impressed. Did a double take this week where I went "wait, wasn't the main guy's official name Corona what the hell."

Transistor didn't seem to have nearly the same impact on the gaming community that Bastion did and basically nobody except those who played it are going to know who this is. Would be tempted for LAW if her design was worse.

im gonna be lenient here just because my general read and Ghost Tricks recent contest performance suggest its main character shouldnt be quite that dreadful and assume either theres some SFF (for some reason) or last place factor there but 12% on Red isnt a huge amount better than Dravens 12% on Amaterasu.

Blue elephant from a game most people who had an N64 (or a good friend with one) probably played at some point. I guess he scraps past LAW but hes probably really bad.

Joke factor and his presence in Rivalry Rumble didn't cause Conker to tank, so he's probably not terrible but his game is weak enough that I can't really see a non-main character clear low.

Let's face it, you're only going to see him by watching other people play the game.

Big the Cat (Sonic series) - Low fodder

People for the most part never liked Big the Cat much and I don't think any joke/meme potential he has would resonate much beyond maybe big Sonic fans - 3D Sonic fans, at that. And the most gamefaqs-relevant 3D Sonic game (Sonic Adventure 2) only includes Big in some brief cameos.

if he ever gets into a well-received MvC game, maybe he can do something but even then fighting games didnt exactly impress last contest. In general I feel like people remember Morrigan and sorta Felicia but dont care at all about Darkstalkers itself or its characters who dont have TJF.

His games are too cult and too Genesis, both in terms of console and game length. Just replayed RKA and it was great though. Shoulda been on the Genesis Mini.

I think his franchise is pretty niche to the point I'm not sure being on more consoles helps much. The guy got 11% on Squall. That's really bad. And things ended up pretty muddled that contest but I think it's likely 2013 Squall is notably weaker than 2003-2010 Squall. I guess Rayman being there could have plausibly hurt him somehow, though.

So how would people interpret Other's continual strong performance in this poll every time it's run?
If even Microsoft is under 1%, it strongly suggests nothing from this millennium could be contributing anything noteworthy to Other.
Atari doing so well means I could maybe buy about half of Other being from its pre-crash console competitors. But what else is there that mattered at all that the other options don't cover? At that point you're left with total dregs.
I think the real answer is probably that many people aren't interpreting "video game system" to necessarily mean "video game console." Other is doing extremely well in the U.K. and I know their early home gaming scene was dominated by home computers of the era like the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum.

Never played Dragon Age but isn't this an incredibly minor character who only got into 2010 thanks to a stupid meme? He then proceeded to get dead last in the x-stats. Which still probably wasn't bad enough for LAW by itself but after how Inquisition flopped last contest, I'm thinking "related to Dragon Age but not actually cared about" is worth very little. And meme characters often don't age well.

I think her one result actually suggests mid fodder or so if taken seriously (she beat Travis and avoided the doubling from Kratos) but she got rallied then and probably wouldn't get rallied again so yeah.
