One of those types of people that thought he was the smartest guy in the company, and was extremely rude to everyone and was pretty much just very cocky. The problem however, was that he was the smartest guy in the company, and everyone respected him. I ended up quitting because he just left a bad taste in my mouth, he ruins the whole atmosphere for me. I also worked at a call center job where my boss was a major asshole. it's one thing when a coworker is an ass, but when it's your boss there's really not much you can do about it. Needless to say, the coworker is fucking useless, he comes in late everyday, never does anything he is supposed to, he just plays on his phone all shift. My supervisor works in the morning, he never sees this kid. I, however, do see him because he relieves my shift when I'm done. Because of this, my supervisor wants me to coach him on everything he's doing wrong. Here's the thing, I'm not a supervisor, I'm not being paid enough to do supervisory duties. Normally I don't mind doing extra things here and there, but not consistently. It's not my job to coach this coworker, when I'm his equal and my pay is far less than my supervisor's. I'm not saying my supervisor should come in overnight and coach him for a few minutes. But can you see my side to this? This is bullshit, I'm not getting extra pay for this. I'm not a supervisor.
