Even Far-Queue saw that. Some people will just think youre trashy a game they like for no reason. Its not so much about ego as it is being nice. Maybe that's a result in living in a society that values novelty and uniqueness. You saying I just never considered means that explaining might not really work. Many people actually like repetition. Especially since they can just play without really thinking... Like after a long day at work. People are going to like different things. Like food. You may not like a food because of reason A. But reason A is the reason someone else likes it... You don't need to be intelligent to think critically and analyze your likes and dislikes. Its not about not knowing your likes and dislikes, but rather liking something you normally wouldnt like. Ive play games where it checks off boxes where I wouldnt play it. But theres still something alluring about it. Like when you cant stop watching a really bad movie, or a train wreck... Eventually, I usually know what it is even if it take a while to find out, though. Though, its usually the battle system I found interesting. Haha. JigsawTDC posted... The title is literally a question, and I listed why I why I have a hard time understanding it. Yeah, I didn't like it, so my opinion is going to come across as trashing it. Doesn't mean other people can't like the game or that I'm not interested in why they did. The title itself is definitely fine. But then you immediately start off trashing the game hard. Ive asked why people liked a certain game many times without immediately trashing it. And it can turn people off answering your question. Or even make some people defensive, like Far-Queue said... First, the request seems weird. They wanted them to clear the road. When helping civilians, the last thing they are probably worried about is the parking job. Also, they have to block traffic from getting too close, which could cause either another accident, or have people just running in the wounded and paramedics. And if you watch the video, traffic seemed fine. They had to go over to the right lane, but it was still moving. And traffic normally slows down after an accident happens. It weird that they were mad at you instead of the boss... You can only do so much. That sort of reminds me of another job I had. Only because of the works days, though my problem was different. I worked at a Subway in Wal-Mart. A couple days, my boss ask me to work in his other Subway in the gas station. Eventually, I started working there every Saturday. And then he stopped giving me shifts at the other one. So, I was only working one day a week and it was Saturday. He gave me off one Saturday, I got a new number during the week, and he was never able to call me to give me my next work day. I went like 2-3 months later to get my final paycheck. I had forgetting about it. But some ladies (who I never met) knew my grandma and sister, and told them about my check still being there... Another problem with the job is that I worked with this one douche who made me do all the dishes all day. I dont mind doing some, but I wasnt a dishwasher. I liked making sandwiches. And I hated dishes... So, I was fine with leaving... Plus, the douche was super into the rules... So, yeah... wolfy42 posted... Yeah, this was pre-2000 so not a ton of options for portable games (think nintendo had one back then), but it was mainly me just being work concious like you said. Also I was in the military (not that many years before) and your kinda expected to wait alot (especially when I was working as a courier for awhile), and certainly not allowed to read etc while reading. I figured it was a while ago, which is why I suggest maybe a book or something... And even after all the hurry up and waiting for the military, I figured why waste my time doing nothing while waiting. Haha. Though, we could read while waiting in the military... As long as it was study material... If you want a job in the Air Force thats constantly working, you gotta get a maintenance job on a shitty aircraft. Then youre constantly working... I can do the same thing everyday to a degree. I could play games everyday as long as I have multiple different games. Like how you said you never brought a book. Bringing one would have made it better. I know a girl who I worked with shortly who was always currently reading. Me, I bring games and my phone to work. So, I always have something to do. I can read stuff on my phone, or play a game to pass the time. Watch some videos or something. I don't mind doing what I would do at home while I'm at work.
