In my county cases have been actually increasing yet my city is going to begin opening on May 6th...My county is only behind Los Angeles county in cases per 100k people in California. The only ray of hope is that it's starting to get hot here. With Temps above 100F all last week, hopefully this actually keeps people inside their homes.

About 100 rolls. Amazon shipped orders like 3 weeks in advanced before I could cancel. Its ok tho, I'm the supplier for my parents and in laws.

Me and my wife are both nurses. So what we do we both hit two McDonald's in different cars and BAM! Free food for the whole family!

We experiencing a spike in cases here. This week it's the 1st week that temps have been above 100F. We will see if that helps...

I would like the Mexico border closed just because I live in a county of about 180k people yet have a city of about 1.5million across the border which is rapidly becoming a covid Hotspot. During these times I do support travel ban between the countries.

The day the stay at home order started in California is the last day I cut my hair. Promised I wouldn't cut it again until its lifted. We shall see

Only one positive patient in my dialysis clinic. Today is the first day I got out of my self imposed 21 day quarantine incase I caught it when I triaged patient. Spending day with my 5 year old son. Gonna have to go back into my isolation part of house since I'm working at a patient under investigation clinic in 3 hours. Just glad I got to hug my son today. Other than that its been good. Used to wearing PPE 24/7 now

Getting $2/hr more at work. Working more hours. Stimulus check...savings account is doing better than it has in years. I'm thinking of deferring my $2200 mortgage to pay off credit cards...

I purchased n95 masks in preparation for this back in January/February. I figured my company wouldn't provide them for me(dialysis clinic). Now I'm the only RN wearing N95 masks at work. Also ordered KN95 masks if I run out of the N95s. Point is I didn't rely on my work to provide these items and they shouldn't have either, but I guess my way of thinking is not the norm. It really sucks for them tho, and I understand their reasoning.

nope have to shave every other day to get a good seal on the N95s. I'm growing out my hair tho. I got haircut the day the stay at home started in California. Said I wouldn't cut it til its lifted...we will see

I'm going to dialyze a patient under investigation today at 9pm. There have been 6 confirmed positive dialysis patients in my county. Sadly 3 have died. Yet patients still not taking it serious. I think if they were aware of this deaths maybe, just maybe they would.

So a patient I sent to ER on Friday tested positive. I was already in isolation at home because of coworker who tested positive the week before, now had to start my 14 days again...sigh

I'm just taking loperamide to poop less

I think we are doing overall OK given our large population I would have expected more cases. Wish people took it more serious though. Still see Walmart full as ever. Doesn't help we have a 1.5million city across the border in Mexico as our sister city...

So we will soon be getting 30k+ confirmed cases a day huh?

I'm wearing a face shield along with my N95. If I were treating a confirmed covid 19 patient I would put on my swim goggles too.

Shouldn't we expect to start leveling off in 12 days or so? I see Italy is getting less cases now.

I bought a 20 pack back in February at a local hardware store. Some 3M 5 packs at Walmart early March. Amazon sold some 3M 10 packs like a week ago. I got lucky and snagged two orders. They supposedly get here on Friday. Just waiting for them to actually ship

I will let yall know once it gets to the 100s here in April

Just bought a camping tent for backyard. Not going into the house if I end up with it except for bathroom use. I isolated part of the house already and started living there now that its closer to infecting me. Will go to tent if confirmed

So there's been a confirmed case of a dialysis patient at another clinic in my county. What's worrying is that several of my staff have gone to cover over there plus the wife of a coworker is now taking care of a positive patient in the hospital.I think I might get it soon. Seems inevitable now.

we can expect at least what, 10 more days of this? Then start to plateau? Here in the USA
