yeah. anyway he has become posh ass that refuse to eat dry food. i've given him special canned food to help with digestion but the doc said it's safe to introduce him to dry food now ( i plan to always mix them because i heard dry only is bad i long term ) but he absolutely refuse to eat it lol

Oh yeah if it wasn't actually a puncture bite then I wouldn't even be worried. It's only when they bite straight down and their teeth embed bacteria under the surface that then gets closed over quickly that it's really an issue.

Om what pain level should i be concerned? Right now it's kinda like minor sting when you accidentally shallow cut your finger peeling fruit.
Sting a bit more if i touch it obviously but maybe 0.3 in the scale of 10.

Any other signs of it getting worse?

I'd wait and see if it gets worse. I've been nipped by my cats and clawed but it never was a problem. Of course, they usually weren't trying to REALLY hurt me, which makes me wonder what you were doing to your cat?

Orally administered vitamin prescription. It's not anyone's fault. Def not his. I just need to feed him vitamin and he isn't exactly a fan of the process.

It's like just a tiny prick but it sting a little and i heard they can get infected bad.



I have washed it and give it usual ointment should just i just go to the doc immediately tomorrow or it's ok?

Could be because he's on antibiotics too. Vet prescribed one called clavamox. 0.15ml twice a day.

Also sniper still won't play. My vet said it's normal for new kitten and especially because he's sick.

He loves his cuddles and bury himself in my armpit, so i think he trusts me, but still there's no avail in trying to stimulate him. I haven't bought any toys but i tried some makeshift ones like crumpled paper tied on a rope, or even dangling keys in front of him but he only glances on them and ignore ot

Btw, you might want to get him used to trimming his claws when his foot is healed. You may never have to depending on his habits with a scratching post, but it'll be a lot easier to get him comfortable with it as a kitten.

absolutely. either that or have his nails trimmed regularly.

thankfully i am educated against declawing thanks to the declaw CE topics. sounds horrible. i will never subject him to that torture

he's so visibly uncomfortable when it's medicine time. i think he likes the vitamins since they're sweet but he know the disinfectant spray. everytime i take it out and set him on the table he either whine or tuck his tail between his legs :(

i try to give him pets after each session, but yeah. need tough love sometimes.

good news is the torn flesh is starting to fuse together. it was bad before. you can see one of the knuckle bone separated from the flesh.

i rushed to the vet earlier today since yesterday (around 30 minutes after the last time you posted) he puked and doesn't want to eat. thankfully it seemed i just overfed him. maybe from the streets he was very hungry so the first few days he ate as much as he can and no problems, but the past several days he has constant meals but still retain hunger mode appetite so he overeat and i gave him too much.

his belly bloat is noticeably decreased too. we finally able to get stool sample because last time he pooped before vet visit. thankfully the doc found no trace of worms or other parasites.

anyone i moved his litter, so it's back to square 1. he already started going on his own yesterday, but i noticed the old place is beside a cupboard that have crawlspace inside and it's very dusty. so i moved it he started doing it out of the box again.

so basically i have to start from 0 with his toilet again?

bump. i have been busy since i am taking care of a new kitten. i play maybe one hour a day before today, which is weekend ,but things are startling to settle and the kitten is slowly recovering.

not much happened after thursday. right now i am in brittle hollow exploring the lead i got from giant's deep. accidentally fell into a black hole and barely survived to navigate the white hole station (like with 60 secs oxygen lol) came back trough teleporter.

I tried his food because of curiosity turned out the wet food isn't that bad. With some seasoning it could turned into decent human meals.

the other guy said the low energy-ness could be caused by medicine side effect. he don't have diarrhea last time he pooped.

basically the vet said as long as he's eating and pooping he's fine. the nictating (sp) membrane is also not visible and his eyes are clear.



aside from that i notice his belly is getting bigger that might caused by worms. yesterday the vet said she gave a syrup worm treatment, but it's more for preventation she said. i whatsapp'd her she said just watch the condition and if he stopped eating bring him to the vet again. he's still eating, drinking and pooping so far. no puking, but seem really tired somehow.

i tried to play with him but he always climb on me and trying to sleep. like low energy or something

yeah. he hasn't scratched anything even when i clean him up (he hates it and his claws are out but not for scratching but for clinging onto my clothes)

he already learned to use the litterbox :)

i still have to clean it up every time he poop/pee because he can't use actual litter yet in risk of infecting the wound. i cover it with sheets of paper and since it doesn't absorb smell nor liquid good he always made mess and i have to wipe his foot bum and tail every single time.

the bird videos really makes him calm. he's been behaving better today than the previous days tho

He love his new bed! I notice he's sleeping a lot more soundly since it's an actual soft surface instead of just pile of clothes in a bathroom floor.

I decided against putting him bathroom or cage again and try to build a temporary enclosure.

finally found my kitty friendly gaming setup.

he kinda hates heights and won't stay calm on my lap so i had trouble giving him attention while i am doing my me-time.

now i noticed he likes hiding under my gaming desk so the solution is i put the bed on there (the sheet is my old boxer he loves lol ) and he is content as long as any part of me is visible to him lol

good news his weight increased 100 grams since 2 days ago
the bad news is his nose is kinda dry and there seem to be a canker sore on his tounge
vet gave me vitamins, mouth antibiotics. as long as he eats it should be fine

he weirdly don't like heights. if i put him on my bed on the side where the edges is ( left side of my bed is directly against a wall) he tries to jump. the only way i can keep him on bed is putting him on the inner side so he don't see the edge.

i get tired on one side so ended up sitting on the floor with him
