I'm in Europe for this contest as I wanted to spend some time abroad, (and it's been great being stuck indoors for weeks due to a global pandemic), and our clocks move forward tonight at 9pm Eastern.

So effectively the next matches will only be 23 hours long for most of Europe, right?

If the virus kills 4% of infected people, and half of America gets it then that's 6 million people dead. And that's on top of all the other deaths and only if healthcare somehow became amazing. Even with the low number of people infected right now, the healthcare system is overtaxed. There won't be enough resources to take care of people. The ones that might survive with care right now would die when they are unable to be cared for in a super overloaded healthcare system. And the economy in that situation would be significantly worse.

It will not be killing 6 million Americans.

That being said a tanked economy would cripple tens of millions of Americans, millions of small businesses. The disease is already here. Its gunna kill some old people- no stopping it.

We quarantine for 2 weeks to lessen the spread and slow the emergency room visits down then we gotta get shit rolling if you want to have a job come May 1st.

Will slightly more people die because of this? Maybe, and yes that's unfortunate but the economy of the United states as a whole is a bigger priority.

That can sound harsh and it probably is but that's life. I don't love it either but tough choices have to happen and this is the right call unfortunate as it is

+1 on the opinion that the La-Mulana games make the whole game world feel connected in a way that no other roguelike I've ever played does

Someone in the metroidvania discord strongly suggested I keep a notepad handy and write shit down when playing the La Mulana games and it's easily the best advice possible. I remember playing La Mulana 1 and the puzzles floored me. Sometimes it's as simple as a false wall, other times its a ridiculous puzzle sprawling the entire map.

I'm tempted to pick Tales of Berseria over FFXV.

I feel like Velvet > Noctis may be looked at like a "whatever" kind of result (especially since characters =/= games), but FFXV Barely edged out Pokmon Sun/Moon at its prime, while Berseria has become the most respected Tales of game since Vesperia.

People with no income and who dont contribute to society get more than someone who makes 250k a year and pays 50k in taxes?

What if my mortgage payment is $3000 a month? Shouldn't it be based off of what you actually make. Whoever pays more taxes gets a bigger hand out to cover cost of living assuming your car and mortgage payment coincide?
