I guess if you're white and racist but don't understand what's racist and not, you might confuse taking flak for your ideas as being attacked for being white while having an opinion on race. But practically nobody has ever said white people can't talk about race. I've had political and sociological discussions with people of practically every background America has to offer; immigrants, black Americans, Muslims, poor, well to do, etc; people I often just casually met. All it leads to is a friendly discussion. Literally every white protestor is making a statement in regards to race. If she has had problems when talking about racial issues it's probably because she was saying racist shit.

She's flat out delusional on almost all fronts. She's created a straw man based on an amalgam of minority to practically nonexistent held opinions. And I don't doubt there are 108,000 people with similar delusions.

I can't say I was particularly wise when I was 15, but it's hard to see this girl becoming a thoughtful person any time soon. I kind of feel bad saying that, but man, she clearly has some bad role models.

Really this whole game is about swapping to the old man and kicking everything's ass.

How did that movie do in its attempt to capture the aura of the original art? I can't help but suspect that everything that wasn't directly copied missed the mark. But if it all worked well, I'd like to see the movie.

I see what you're getting at and don't agree it reflects reality.

I think the proper concern would be how society reinforces ideas that lead girls to feel ashamed of their sexuality and boys to be proud of it. As a result girls are often labeled sluts if they begin having sex earlier or more frequently than other girls, and often have a hard time dealing with puberty. While boys feel great if they develop sooner than other boys and are told having sex is an accomplishment to be proud of.

Girls get the short end of the stick there. But if you remove the societal factors that influence boys and girls to act certain ways you'll find that girls want and enjoy sex just as much as boys, and boys are just as capable of emotional attachment as girls. Unfortunately boys and girls are taught to repress certain aspects of themselves.

I still think she's schizophrenic. Her abilities to take in data, draw connections, and utilize context are severely handicapped and filtered through high levels of delusion. She also has a way of thinking about millions of individual people as if they were one person. Kind of a trademark of paranoid schizophrenics.

Very few people say any of what she thinks. And a few people saying something doesn't make it true. People say all types of shit.

Saying "all lives matter" has been often used as a COUNTER point to "black lives matter". In that case it is in fact being used to diminish the point of black people feeling marginalized. Yes people who feel the need to squash the realities of racism probably have some skin in the game. Her take is an oversimplification, but is probably the most accurate thing she said.

Since when is standing for the flag requiring apology? That's just flat out delusional. Damn near everybody does during national anthems.

People go to church all the time. Burning churches is pretty much universally frowned upon.

We are absolutely free to start businesses. Destructive vandalism is again almost universally frowned upon. Sympathizing and empathizing with anger doesn't change that. Try that shit at almost any other point in time and see how acceptable it is.

How many people actually say all cops are racist? Seriously. "Peaceful protester" is literally used to distinguish between peaceful protestors and vandals. A distinction that is necessary because of how many people, again, frown upon the vandalism going on.

Now she's just going on and on saying it's okay to destroy things while complaining about certain lock down mandates.

She's perfectly free to protect monuments with words, protest, her body. Most monuments would have lots of backlash for being taken down. Referring to confederate monuments that people largely agree should be taken down, as merely "historical monuments" makes it seem like she's willfully ignoring why they're being removed.

I don't think I've heard a single person ever say white people can't discuss race, let alone a minority of people. Just look at how diverse the protests are.

I've heard a ton of talk worrying about the effects the protests can have on COVID.

Good question. My best guess is due to the implication that one of them can know the color of their cap. Not hearing anybody behind him also rules out the possibility of there being two people behind him.

The person in front has no information.

The second person who only sees a wall has no information.

The third person knows the second person is wearing a blue hat and knows he also has no information.

The person in the back knows what everybody knows and sees one blue cap and one white cap.

If the third person were wearing a blue cap like the man in front of him is, then the person in the back would immediately know he must be wearing a white cap since there are two of each color. But he isn't, so he doesn't.

By not hearing the person in the back exclaim the color of his cap, the third person knows the color of his cap is different from the person in front of him.

Seems about right.

I didn't play the first game, and have zero interest in the sequel, but I am aware that people were upset at the big spoiler. I just don't get it. I can't see how it affects the gameplay. And I can't see how it could detract from the game's ability to tell a compelling story, for people who actually give a shit about cut scenes and narratives.

Also Dunkey's great. Uncharted 4 is hot garbage, but he put Furi in one of favorite games of the year so I'm interested in his opinions on games where gameplay matters. His Enter the Gungeon review is my favorite review too.
