Corrik's point is valid, and the difference is probably not as pronounced as polling suggests, but I see clear growth in the intervening years since 2016, and that's what I think Rock is arguing here.

Well there has only been one substantial election since 2016 and it is a cycle democrats would have been predicted to do better with every demographic regardless who the republcan standard barer was. I think it is too early to draw any conclusions just yet.

Yeah I agree that is a very possible outcome with candidate Biden, then. I'm not convinced he would do that much better than Clinton in the popular vote because I don't think he quite gets the same turn out she did from more liberal cities, but you could be right he closes the gap in the southern states (where he still loses by a considerable margin).

Warren had been 1a for me because while she's old she isn't Bernie Sanders old. Like, Sanders is old enough that his pick of VP could realistically really, really matter.

But I do think he's substantially more likely to beat Trump than Warren now, which is my primary concern at this point.

I am concerned that if Trump beats Biden it could be even a more lopsided electoral/popular split. I think Biden might run up numbers in Liberal bastion states maybe 3-5 at least more % and can close the gap in a lot of southern states 3-5% but not be able to carry any of those traditional southern states and get edged out in the rust belt also as well.

I don't think BIden would do *worse* electorally, but I would imagine he would do about the same and maybe pick up Pennsylvania. I also don't think he'd run up the popular vote that much more than Clinton. I would guess it would be about the same but you could be right.

Im the same way! Except I was Warren and am now pulling for Sanders because I think he has the better shot to beat Trump. But Im later in the cycle to the point where there really should only be one of those two left and Warren is still my number two.

With Warren going down and Bernie going up recently, I sort of assumed the flexible Warren supporters already moved over to Bernie and the ones that were left were (maybe?) less likely to. I know she has a good chunk of supporters that have Biden as number two but Im not all that certain where the more core group of her supporters that are left stand.

I think either he or Warren need to sweep both early states to have a realistic shot at the nomination. There is a good chance if Warren gets clobbered in both states that she just drops out entirely which should help Sanders out even more (maybe? I feel like maybe if youve held onto Warren this long that maybe the reason is you dont like Sanders all that much so maybe Im wrong here but I dunno for sure).

I'm admittedly uneducated in the subject, so this is an honest question, but has Rogan outright said anything transphobic beyond his sports beliefs? I've heard where he's against trans athletes competing against women, and he bases that opinion on some study he talked about that said they were found to retain strength advantages despite like months/years of hormone therapy, and while I don't necessarily agree with it, I can understand why he might hold that viewpoint. I just haven't heard of him saying anything beyond that, since in the past he has atleast claimed to have no problems beyond sports.

I don't know enough about Joe Rogan either but I quickly googled the controversy and this was the first thing that came up:
