The whole having to buy them thing isn't a good excuse. I could see it being a problem if all there was were the disposable masks and people were still price gouging them, but that's not the case. Washable masks aren't expensive and are widely available since everyone wants a piece of the pie. There are even instructions on how to make them out of stuff you probably already have at home.

If cloth that can't even keep wind from getting through is an acceptable face covering, explain to me what the point of wear a mask at all is.
