I don't hate President Trump. I do think he behaves extremely irresponsibly though. And this epidemic is just another in a long list of examples.

OT is great. After that, the series kind of dwindled in quality imo. The Great Ace Attorney spinoffs and Ace Attorney Investigations 2 are great though.

The first season covers the part of the manga that near everyone loves. The 2nd part is mostly well-received as well right up until the end. I personally love all of the manga, but the 3rd (and probably final) part definitely split the fanbase.

I want a president who takes some level of responsbility for the things he says and remains professional when addressing the public. I hold higher expectations of the president of the United States than I do any news reporter. No matter their history, his response to that question is awful.

I get the low budget comment but the idea that Japanese films aren't innovative in terms of storytelling is madness.

Not that they don't exist, but that a lot of the ones advertised most prevalently to Japanese audiences are not.

As far as I can tell, belief and faith are effectively synonyms. So when someone says they believe something on faith, they're only saying they believe it because they believe it.

I think part of the reason modern live action film struggles in Japan is the relatively low budget appearance of it tied with a relatively small amount of innovation in terms of storytelling. Sure, anime can absolutely be generic as well, but it at least has a lot of spectacle going for it.

Even in Japan itself, their modern live action films (save for a select few) struggle to grab the attention of Japanese audiences.

I mean, if it's good enough for Olive Garden...

I think many people care less about the structure of these things and more about their specific candidate winning no matter what.

I think everyone's like that to an extent. That's why we stop complaining about the electoral college or primary system when our choice wins.

I really don't get this talking point. If Klobuchar and Buttigieg stayed in the race, they would siphon off votes and delegates from Biden absolutely. But that still means the people who are voting support more moderate candidates than someone like Sanders or even Warren. People can blame the DNC all they want, but voters are the ones making this choice - not the DNC.

Yes, ultimately it's the numbers that decide who gets in. But even that is seperate to the fact that the DNC clearly doesn't want Sanders winning the vote.
