Dune is one of my favorite book series. Battletech is cool too but not what I'd call consistently good.
Both of them are examples of interstellar sci-fi with no space aliens (which I think makes for more interesting stories)

Yeh, I usually bring my old battery to the store Im buying a new one from and let them have it to get the deposit back towards the new battery.

Also...there shouldnt be a question of is it going to run tomorrow? Did you not even try starting your car after changing it?

As true as it might be, I don't think it's a particularly useful sentiment to express. We're shaped by individual interactions, not a statistical whole. You can't go around assuming every 5th person you meet is the scum of the earth and should be driven into the mud. Nobody is born with a sinner's heart, but rather we are all exposed to the filth of this world and some of us let the darkness take hold. For many, it is ignorance and not 'knowing' a better way, that against our will, our souls are cut off from truth. For all our collective knowledge, science, and wisdom, there isn't any formula or method that has the power to change peoples' values. Nobody can see what truly lies in another person's heart. So what approach can we take to the issue? To see hope in everyone, that showing trust, kindness, and compassion can resonate with people and be the example that demonstrates there is a better way forward. Every time we choose to hate, to dismiss, to marginalize, to minimize, and to neglect is at the same time, chosing to lose another opportunity to bridge a gap, to build the bonds between people that are the true source of strength.

I tried Bumble for awhile last year and was able to line up a date every weekend as a 33 year old dude. Also have none of the sixes so not like Im a Chad by any stretch of the name.

I didnt get a girlfriend but they did help me find more interesting things to do with myself so I havent bothered keeping up with it (plus the ol corona is still out there)

It doesn't happen much for me but there are times I get up, go into the bathroom, look at myself in the mirror, and the first words out of my mouth that day are "you disgust me".

I guess to me it's like there's a bully that lives in my head who comes along every so often to remind me of what a terrible person I am and of all the ways I never live up to my potential and other peoples' expectations of me, and since it lives in my head, it can pull out all my memories and use them against me to prove I'm as terrible of a person as it says I am.

However I'd say in general I have a rather apathetic view of the past. I don't use social media at all because I don't want to hang on to the people in my past or connect with anyone I used to know. I don't take very many photos and the ones I do have I never print them or display them in any way. At most I'll send them or show them to people more to illustrate a story I'm telling rather than having any emotional connection to whatever it was. I just think of the past as garbage and have a hard time understanding the people who carry their regrets around like a big old monkey on their back.

Not sure about that. My understanding is that the option wont be visible if your plan doesnt cover it. I have it on my Verizon personal iphone (on 5GB plan), my Verizon Android work phone, and I helped a friend learn to use it who has T-mobile unlimited on iPhone and it was there for her.

Assuming you mean build credit...
As long as you let the charges stay until its posted to the statement/bill, it will be reported to the credit bureaus

You only get charged interest on any balance that persists from one statement to the next, so if you pay off the entire statement, you can keep charging to the card and the new months purchases wont accrue any interest. Those get posted the next month, you pay them off, and keep on truckin

English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Irish, Greek, Latin, Finnish, and Danish are pretty recognizable to me.

Norwegian and Swedish I can never tell apart

Same with any of the languages written in Cyrillic

I'm only fluent in English and can speak a little Spanish.

I drive manual but only because that was what was in stock when I bought my last vehicle.

My first vehicle was a 1991 Toyota pickup(Hilux) that I drove from when I was 16 to 29 years old, manual transmission of course. It blew the head gasket one day and I decided I had enough of fixing it up and it was time to buy a new truck. I shopped around and liked the look and features of the Chevy Colorado but didn't want to spend too much on something I was using for work, so I mostly looked at the lower WT (work truck) level trim. The only one they had of that was a manual transmission so I figured, whatever, I can still drive it and I need to get back to work so let's go for it.
