The problem with such a huge series is once you sit down and start writing it, after you get a book or two in, you'll probably lose interest and want to move onto a different idea!

The cool thing about that 15 book series is that it's broken up into 5 different trilogies that each tell a new arc of the overarching story. The protagonist in trilogy 1 dies in the first book and one of his friends becomes the new protagonist of that trilogy. The second and third trilogy are about a different character (who is a relative of the second protagonist). The 4th and 5th trilogies each focus on new protagonists in the same family. I've been watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure again and got inspired lol. Following a bunch of different characters should keep things fresh, plus each trilogy is basically a different subgenre (all of them are sci fi though).

It's a good game. A game doesn't deserve to be called "the worst of the generation" unless its a buggy piece of shit with a nonsensical story. People might not like the plot of TLOU 2 but overall the game is very well made

Of course it can if the character and story are fun. But she is just such an unlikable character who does so many terrible things that it's hard to like.

You not liking her doesn't mean that the story is bad though. In the movie Uncut Gems, the main character is an irredeemable piece of shit who screws over everyone around him but everyone still loves that movie anyway. A character doesn't need to be likable in order to tell a good story

Sadly it's not the same game.The same game would have had a much better story. And while the first game tried to make it's characters gray in morality this game throws us in the shoes of a villain protagonist whose horrible actions have no end.

It's a good game when you play it but sadly you are playing as a terrible person for most of the game.

So a story cant be good if the main character is a villain? That makes no sense

I saw it last week and it seems like its mostly based on his life with a few changes. He doesn't follow his dad though. He spends some time with firefighters and gets a better understanding of what his dad was really like and then the movie ends with us having no idea what he'll do with the rest of his life. It wasn't a bad movie
