because she doesn't just "confront" them.
she attacked, she instigated, she chased. that's all on purpose by her. she wants a reaction out of them, she wants them to do something.

Yes, she wants them to acknowledge what they're doing is wrong, understanding what they're doing is selfish and makes the situstion worse, and wants them to understand that they got caught, are on film, and can't just skate past the situation without consequences.

Anyway, the only bad thing about that finale is that not one person thought "I'll throw Michele a single vote. She deserves it." Watching her go the whole season, thinking she's a shitty winner and getting a fuckton of hate online for having the audacity to exist, and then she winds up being yet another 0-vote finalist...that really sucks. It was not fun to watch her cry into her sister's shoulder.

I feel terrible for her, and I wish someone sent her a vote, but I can understand how some votes were siphoned Tony's way and some Nat's

WOW this finale has been awesome. Dramatic challenges and the best F3 ever, my 1, 2, and 3 for the season, overtaking Pearl Islands (F3 were my 1, 3, and 4) and Vanuatu (my top 3 came in 1st, 2nd, and 4th).

So very much! Also, it's insane just how many incredible challenge moments have happened this season between insane comebacks and split second finishes.

I was going to make a slightly snarky post acknowledging the chair find (and I did not count Wendell as part of those numbers) about how it has traction because Natalie has no clue to avoid the well with Tony missing because she hasn't been around long enough, especially with sn idol up her sleeve.

But damn, Ben. Wow. Was not expecting that, but... after acknowledging not getting any fire tokens or advantages last episode, and Natalie Edge intel... he probably know he has no way to win and is willing to sacrifice his game to help someone who does have a chance and needs it more.

Don't get me wrong, if Natalie wins this she will be the worst winner in terms of gameplay. But it'll be fun as hell to see happen.

She played an incredible game! With the caveat of acknowledging Edge of Extinction as a factor of play, which moreso than last time, involved more than just surviving to return. There were challenges and there were plays to influence the players still in with the Fire Tokens, and affect the game that way.

She had a big hand in how a lot of votes and strategy went by knowing who to target and for how much, which she only could do by winning those advantages in the first place.

What the hell was even that match even what? None of that went in the way I expected.

-It wasn't until they were on the roof, in particular after Bryan went shoulder first into the bar, but moreso when AJ Styles punched Otis... they were using sound effects from even the little things, not just throwing Black and Mysterio to their doom. Like there are clear stock '80s arcade punch sounds coming from AJ's fists.

-The cameos are... I... what... Vince's worked alright enough, but Paul Heyman, Brother Love, and John Laurinitus? What, even... it was like a House of Horrors fever dream. And could Stephanie not even be arsed to show up live? That was some terrible pre-recorded, unfunny stupidity. And I'm grinning as I'm saying that because I cannot believe they thought that would pass muster unless it was intentional. Also, Dana is dumb. The McMahons are INSANE! That might be real money in that case!!! TAKE IT!!!!

-What happened to Shayna, Dana, and Carmella? I would've actually loved to have seen the three of them fight their way into the ring like five minutes after Asuka made off with the briefcase, some great spots, someone to climb the ladder while the men are laid out, and realize the case was already taken and the three of them pout their way out of the ring. But seriously, where'd they go?

-One major positive about this dumb, dumb cartoon were the introductions. I liked seeing who each competitor beat to qualify. I haven't kept up with Raw or Smackdown so I don't know exactly how accurate those are in terms of how things really happened (screwy finishes, etc.), but I liked seeing twelve other names there that could've been in the match and their honorable mentions. That was cool, and helped people who don't watch learn a bit more. "Hey, I know Dolph Ziggler. Otis beat Dolph Ziggler to qualify? That means something!"

-Rey and Black are dead.

-Seriously, King Corbin is going to be in soooo much trouble.

-Oh. Not for killing Rey and Black. They expected people to be tossed off the roof making this match. Insurance and all that. No, Baron broke that mirror with the weight. He'll both have to pay for property damage and be cursed with seven years of bad luck. He can ask Kane.

-Also, like, Daniel Bryan in this match and his promo a few weeks back... he felt like NXT Season 4 Justin Bateman Coaching 'This is the Stupidest Thing And I'm Going to Be As Ridiculous and IDGAF As Possible' Daniel Bryan. If only we had a Steve Blackman cameo!

-And AJ Styles... he sold well. The stupid weights, the giant Rey picture, the Undertaker picture, the casket room, the Vince office... even fumbling the briefcase like a dummy... I thought he made the stupid thing work best of all of them aside from Asuka, who... Asuka outshined everybody.

Natalie earned those tokens though. Yes, she was out there the longest, but Amber, Danni, Ethan, and the rest of the pre-20 returnees were out there for a majority of the game and barely had any tokens to share between them. Did she have the most opportunities? Sure. But she also hustled those tokens in the physical portion, the equivalent of winning at least five individual immunities for the solo tasks and all the rewards for group tasks. AND she bested the social portion by targetting players she knew had tokens, and extorting them for soooo much money.

Like, 8 tokens for a disadvantage at the challenge. That's INSANE. And she had to figure who had the tokens, who was on the bottom, whowould pay, and how much they would pay. If Nick doesn't pay for that EIGHT TOKEN, Natalie only has 6. Hell, anyone who found it first may have had eight, or much less because they could've targetted someone who wasn't going to pay or their asking price would be a lot lower.

It's not because Natalie was out there first (though that helped for getting lay of the land). Natalie out there first should actually have been a disadvantage with how little they eat every day: look at Danni, Ethan, and Amber. But Natalie is insane. She should theoretically be on the verge and lacking all energy, but she's a goddess. Like, it's insane how she's lapping EVERYONE no matter if they got there last night or a few days after her. Only Wendell compared in the last Edge challenge physically, but mentally Natalie edged him.

I'd argue Natalie's run on Edge of Extinction is as anomalous as Brock Lesnar's domination of this year's Royal Rumble. Not everyone who starts out first in these things ends up making it far, but it's unlikely anyone else would be so dominant from a starting position.

So I'm sick of Natalie's advantage was being first out arguments. No. Natalie's advantage was being Natalie.
