Can someone clarify what the guy did to show that he was a racist? Also, has he done something homophobic beyond the whole "Marriage is between a man and woman" bit? Not trying to defend him, I seriously am out of the loop on this.

Yep, and he got his foot in the door with composing because Burton was a fan of the band, which led to him doing the score for Pee Wee's Big Adventure. When they had a falling out, Danny had a semi-midlife crisis and switched Oingo Boingo's direction to producing grunge-ish rock with some influence from his composing career:

I just did that part a couple of days ago in Legendary. Just drive a Ghost behind the gigantic rocks behind the parked Banshees and make sure that the Covenant are (mostly) occupied with the Flood. Then make a mad dash on foot to one of the Banshees and get the hell out of there. It's definitely tough, but it was easier once I remembered that I didn't have to kill everything.

The Library is pretty much the 3rd easiest level on Legendary. All you have to do is use the shotgun and pistol and immediately back up to the last area you were in when you see Flood and shoot them as they enter that area. The main difficulty that people have with the Flood in general is that they run into an area and let themselves get surrounded. For the areas where you get locked in a room, all you have to do is hide in the corner and wait for Spark to unlock the door.

Honestly, Truth and Reconciliation was far more frustrating than the Library.
