I feel pretty safe in counting my +5 and +3 out at this point. Suikoden V was a late addition, which I kind of feel bad about now since it looks like SH2 would have at least tied Life is Strange if I didn't change my list.

Never played the VNs, disco or nier but interested in all and everything else was either on my list or one of my last few cuts. Pathologic 2 is so good

It was my first RPG, I was like 13 and just getting into gaming as I was a huge sports kid prior to that time. Friend turned me onto it and I was just totally engrossed the entire time

Umineko is like 120 hours long though, so Fata Morgan's nice and easy 35 may be a better starting point.

For my list, Umineko should take almost no processing power whatsoever, even on a laptop. Other than that, everything else is on PS4!

I can't even play out of the park 21 which is a baseball management sim lol

Well, in the case of DRV3, there's one mandatory scene like that, but you can just skip the text when it comes up because it's not pertinent to the story whatsoever.

Characters that just walk around half naked is just weird to me anymore. I'm 33. I don't need that kind of thing in my games anymore

I went more along the lines with a mix of world/characters/interactivity/invoking emotions compared to just pure story quality, for the most part, in regards to my list.

It was certainly a level of hyperbole

Deus Ex is def one of the greatest stories ever. The game is insanely well written

Ya probably I've spent most of my online time the last decade or so on other forums and only recently navigated back here.

DE is pretty widely held up as the best game of all time in the circles I usually engage with

MGR's best moments are great, but it has a lot of mediocre stuff. In particular, practically none of the codecs are interesting (MGS4 also suffered from this, which might be the biggest reason I wouldn't consider it for a list like this).
