He had it in his avatar or banner which people would call out and hed use his its a manji excuse even though hes never made any posts about Buddhism or any of the religions and cultures that use it and is instead someone who makes questionable posts about politics, which is when hes usually called out.

Usually the case but there are those unique individuals whove apparently given up on what they call 3D women and focus entirely on cartoon characters so if theyre one of those people it could possibly be an exception. Itd also be the rare instance where being deluded in fantasy is better than the alternative.

I've observed that it usually depends on which side gets the most posts in the first 10 posts. It's usually the left since there are undeniably more left-wing posters (at least vocally) and the moderation system favors progressive stances more (rightfully imo) but there are enough right-wing posters that a topic can be dominated by them and most of the time it's when the first several posts have enough of them in it.

Maybe, maybe not. They might not be able to let their employees work from home because of privacy or legal reasons. Especially if they are flagging videos that are illegal. Maybe they just don't have the setup right now to support such a large group working remote, or maybe networking and firewall policies prevent that from even happening. I think the simple truth here is that its popular to hate on Google right now, so even if this is the right response people are still going to find a way to be outraged over it. Because God forbid somebody has to wait an extra week for the latest Boogie video (that they weren't going to pay for anyway).

There are still people working. Any illegal content can still be swiftly dealt with. The vast majority of videos flagged are due to false copyright claims.

I don't see a single thing that states they have no intention of changing that. Just that they weren't prepared to respond to a pandemic that requires people to not work and this is the best option they have right now . The idea that they're not continually trying to improve their bots is baseless, and the fact that people are prioritizing youtube videos over the health and safety of google employees just shows how little people actually care the moment their free content is disrupted. Like... how many of the people here going on about how this will "hurt content creators" actually bother to like, subscribe, bell, and (dare I say it) turn off their ad blocker and click on ads for the people making the content they like?

This isnt just going to hurt content creators, this is going to hurt viewers when their favorite videos and channels get wrongly removed (and YouTube already is notoriously shitty for following up on appeals let alone legacy channels whove long left YouTube).

This isnt them prioritizing their employees, this is just them being their usual lazy fucks who only care about profit. They could always simply allow for a period of being less trigger-happy like they were in the past but theyd rather screw over their fans than the possibility of momentarily losing their precious advertisers.
