I think its not really much different from anything else you can get fired for doing even if youre not at work when you do it.

Keep that shit private if you dont want it coming back to bite you. Once it goes public and pressure is put on the employer to get rid of you they can justifiably claim that youre costing them money or damaging their reputation.

She could absolutely be lying. Im making no judgement about her credibility as a person.

My only point is that the question of Well why did she wait so long? is pointless. It doesnt help determine whether shes telling the truth or not. There are far too many cases where someone was abused and waited years or decades to say something for that to be a reliable gauge of whether theyre being truthful or not.

I would understand that she couldn't report the crime at the time because she was too young to understand the very nature of the crime (or maybe she might of viewed it as something normal).
But if she was truly aware of the crime, why did she not speak out about it? Incest isn't something new, and it's outlawed in many states...

There are countless reasons why someone may not have stepped forward immediately, especially in a situation like this where she supposedly already tried and was shut down at a young age. Like I said, we know enough now about abuse victims to know that them not revealing what happened until years or even decades after is not uncommon at all.

The reason why really isnt relevant. The focus should be on whether it happened or not, not Well why did you wait so long to bring it to light?

Also every time an employee has had to come over to override something it was a mistake I made, not some issue with the process itself.

Everything Ive heard about him indicates to me hes not a shallow guy. My guess is hes with her because he loves her and she makes him happy. I dont think he cares what you, me, or anyone else thinks about her physical appearance.

And a counter point to your question would be if God really wanted me or anyone else to absolutely KNOW that he existed, he would know exactly what that would take for each individual person and he would do it. That hasnt happened.

This is what I mean. The conversation is already starting to shift away from the issue that started the protests in the first place and is now about the protests/riots themselves.

Saw the same thing happen near here in Baltimore, by the time it was over almost no one was talking about the reason everyone was so mad, just about how awful the rioting was, how the city was all fucked up, and the people who dont want to acknowledge problems with police were more than happy to talk about how savage and thuggish the people in the streets were.

I get how angry this a lot of people, it pisses me off too, but weve seen this movie before, I think its hurting more than its helping.

We have to stop doing this. This is the fuel that people who dont want to focus on what the police did wrong are going to use to deflect from the situation.

Im a console guy and I dont think this is true at all.

IF the PS5 outperforms high end PCs at launch, that wont last long and as the generation progresses, PCs that can outclass the PS5 will get cheaper and cheaper to buy or build. Its the same cycle weve seen for years.

Additionally, the entry cost of going from nothing to a PC on par with a brand new console may be high but for years you end up saving on games (games are generally way cheaper on PC not to mention the insane sales you guys get) and when its time to upgrade again you might only need to replace a part or two which keeps cost over the course of a generation or two very reasonable.

There are pros and cons to both, I dont know why we have to do this every time a new console is about to drop.

For turn based, Legend of Dragon. Easily the best IMO. It's a shame more games didn't steal that and refine it cause it definitely had room to improve.

Overall, FF12. I love the gambits so much. Being able to design your party AI is just so much for me and I feel like they found a good balance between control and convenience. It also had a lot of viable ways to play.

All the xenoblade games get an honorable mention. Their systems are like a vastly improved FF12 system but without gambits or much party control at all. Each game has it's ups and downs but all of them are top tier IMO.

Same for me with LoD. Still one of my favorite turn based battle systems to this day.

The thing is, most wrestling fans are well aware that its fake. They watch it because it entertains them.

I mean I know the Undertaker is not some supernatural being that guys half his age cant keep on the mat for three seconds. But his entrance is still amazing to see live.

Also to be clear, there was definitely controversy around the film before it came out. Cancel culture wasnt really a thing at the time though, so most people were at least willing to give the movie a shot before deciding RDJ should never be seen again.

The way it was executed, it didnt feel like it was done to make fun of or ridicule black people. It was more making fun of actors that dive that deep into their characters.

Black face are those goofy over the top caricatures where they paint the face black. Have red or white around the mouth for the lips and leave the skin on their neck, ears, outter face unpainted.

You realize the actor in the Tropic Thunder that RDJ was playing was a blue-eyed, blonde haired Australian guy right? He did like a surgical procedure to darken his skin or something so he could play the role because hes a method actor.

It was funny because he never broke character until like the end of the movie but the other characters were like dude youre not black.

Why? No ones going to go in my back yard. I have a doggy door that he goes in and out of so hes never locked out. I have two dogs so no other cats are going to go back there. If he wants to go out and sleep why cant he? Anytime something has scared him like fireworks he immediately goes inside and either goes to me or hides under my bed. In the seven or so years Ive had him hes never left my yard.

If hes just in your yard I wouldnt really call that roaming. I think what people are talking about is letting your cat out to just wander wherever it wants and also potentially run into aggressive animals, predators, cruel people, traffic, disease, etc.
