Fights are not really as detrimental as people are making them out to be since they're your primary source of coins, and you use coins to extend the puzzle timer and/or pay the toads. And if you like the puzzles the battles are fun to do on their own! They can get a bit repetitive, though, and there's nothing wrong with running past an enemy. --- pepsi for tv-game |

There are definitely some brain teasers! the game can kind of be as hard or as easy as you like. You can choose to do all the ring puzzles the right way, extending the clock if you need to.
