Because most cops are good. And when a cop does abuse their power, it's played on the news nonstop for at least a week to make it seem like that's all that cops do. But they never bother to report on the good things cops to every day. You don't heart about them rushing into gunfire to save someone from the drug cartels, or going into a burning building to save a child. Plus cops have been maligned in tv shows and movies for that last few decades which also influences public opinion to an extent.

We need the police and most cops are good. The bad cops demonstrate a failure of government. Government doesn't take the necessary precautions to weed out the bad apples because it's tax payer money spending, so what do they care? The solution is simple. We just need to have our police forces run by private companies. If there was an actual profit incentive, instances of police brutality would become almost non-existent.

Because no one approves of what the other two cops did. Everyone agrees that cops shouldn't should be saying shit like that over open channels. There's no debate on the matter. However, there are people (including several on this board) who think that there are no good cops, and that basicaly all cops are saying/thinking things like that.

I like people who are saying they are upset that there aren't peaceful protests, but they were the ones complaining the most about kneeling during the anthem.

The only reason why I complained about kneeling in the NFL is because of the location. I wouldn't have complained about kneeling in state capitols, town squares, etc. Football is supposed to just be a fun escape (and was one of the few left) and has always been 100% apolitical, but they tried to take it over to use as their political platform.

I have no issue with someone using lethal force to defend themselves or their home/business from a criminal in the moment. Beyond that, I think they should recieve due process and be treated humanely in prison.

I would say that they're overall helping him a little bit. I know some people who were firmly anti-Trump just a few weeks ago but are now starting to support him because of how well he's handled the situation.

I've been watching his press conferences as often as I can. There's been a lot of misinformation in the news, even Fox News has been unreliable lately. Trump himself is the only source of information I trust.

Some of the governors have not been handling the riots and looting very well. Of course Trump is going to call them out on it. You also have to remember that Trump comes from the cutthroat world of business where everyone has to pull their weight. Trump expects the same level of hard work and competence from the governors that he himself gives to the country every day.

If the votes are stuffed, then it was done against Trump which means he's doing better than the poll indicates. Even in a gamefaqs poll, Trump voters would have have too much honor to cheat.
