Obviously the original cart on 53rd and 6th in Manhattan is the best, but there's a franchise right over in Levittown off the Wantagh Pkwy. The entire "halal" thing people are freaking out about comes from the phenomenon The Halal Guys popularized. So "I'm about to get some Halal" refers to a platter with meat over rice. "Chicken and rice" is another thing people call it. Hamza and Medina is also very good in Hicksville. There's a truck on 107 and then and a sit down version up by Ikea. Damn, now I want some. Starks posted... Between the city and Hicksville, I have no idea how you've survived without eating halal at least once.Yeah, shit varies so much. Some places are weak as hell, but some are insane.
