I havent collected enough hearts to get me into 8B and the second half of the DLC, but the gameplay is simple and intuitive enough to where I could see myself continuing from where Id left off.

In Circles, while it has English Vocals, it has a more appealing instrumentation, and while it's slow and "sad", it's my kind of "sad" (Like it's not Emotional sad, but more thoughtful sad? I really need to figure out a proper terminology between the two because my opinion on them will very strongly differ).

That final minute of Deoxyribose is my favorite part, including that little 3-second transition. I dont mean that as a knock against the rest of the track, its just that that section is very nice.

How did I miss FNTN during nominations? Its great!

If Snake Eater isnt a 10/10 for me, then its pretty close. Its much less cheesy then FNTN imo, I think that both have the perfect level of cheese for what theyre attempting to do. It adds some humbleness (?) to Snake Eater, which works especially well on those Some days you go through the rain, some days you feed on a tree frog lines because it effectively shows that whoever the character being mentioned is is really struggling.

I want more of whatever Chloe is! idk what specifically I like in music, but the rhythm game stuff that Ive heard in these contests have been hits for me, so maybe I should listen to those soundtracks.

My list is sad.

Those first eight of Classic-tier are in my top 10 games of all time atm, and Celeste is my favorite platformer, so thats why the majority of what Ive played is at the top.

It seems like some of those Great-tier games they could end up in Classic, although it feels weird to put ME3 in the same tier as 2.

Ive actually put a decent amount of time into Dark Souls and Inquisition, wasnt able to get far into them due to unfortunate circumstances. I had really enjoyed what Id played of then, theyre memorable to me, I could probably already rank them over New Leaf. Might replay them some day.

It might have my favorite gameplay of any JRPG. And the party trio is very charming, the fact that they have optional commentary for every NPC and location makes me happy.

FLIGHTLESS sounds like a cyborg experiencing emotions for the first time.

Somnom is like taking a serious journey, where you dont really feel anything intense and are just kinda lost in the aura of this magical place.

I try not to let my fantasies influence my opinions of the music too much, these two are just really interesting in terms of tone for me.

Umineko seems interesting, judging by the soundtrack.

I love the sound design in world of spirit. 2:10 is so cool with that high glassy synth and whatever the drums are doing, it creates this neat sense of space and its like youre flying through the rain or clouds or a waterfall or something.

Im currently addicted to Necrodancer. Havent come back to Six Feet Thunder much, it has a very different feel in-game, especially when youre dying as Aria lot. Its still pretty good either way.

Im surprised to find out that OFE is a battle theme, sounds like the theme for a majestic grandiose area or final dungeon to me.

Second match is very close for me. idk, this version of Zeldas main theme just does some subtle things that I like, and it has this neat adventurous but cill mood to it.

Trying to beat Necrodancer with Aria. I killed Death Metal in Zone 3 last night, I was super pumped and missed a beat on the way to the exit stairs x_x

idk if Ill make it to the end, this is by far the most challenging thing that Ive attempted.

I sometimes get exhausted by just voting on matches, so the fact that you guys works on brackets and spreadsheets is kinda amazing to me. So thanks for running things, these contests are so rad!

Chasing Daybreak vs Mirror Temple is going to make me die, but itll be interesting to see them directly compared.

Id finally played it in 2018, online, but somehow managed to beat most of the levels and the final boss. It was actually pretty neat imo, might not even be one of my bottom 5 Zelda games like it is for most people.

I really like the original Solgaleo/Lunala theme, it sounds really alien and cool. Probably shouldve nommed it.

I think that Ive played a ton of games in general, but this site makes me unsure of that at times. Especially now that I see that Ive only played 26 games from the bracket.

Time and money are very much not an issue, and I definitely dont have a lack of interest in new games (my top two are from the last year or so). I play a lot of older games, play a lot of long games, Ive gotten really into some multiplayer stuff, and Ive done a lot of replays, so that must all really add up.

I played VII for the first time in 2017, and I still thought that the aesthetics were really cool.

The lifestream scene was my favorite part, Im surprised that it isnt a more widespread spoiler. I like how it adds some meaning to Clouds dialogue options from earlier in the game, thats just so clever to me.

I have it loosing to Ultimate in the quarterfinals

I dont remember hearing about The Outer Worlds, Return of Obra Dinn, Dying Light, or Crusader Kings.

This is a song that is best served in chiptune form. I dont know if theres even a version of this with non-chip samples or live instruments, but I love how the relentless percussion serves as the backbone here, and how the different sound channels have this nice interplay. Thats a quality thats best found in chiptunes. This song, much my comments on Route 10, feels slower than it actually is, and thats really neat to hear.

HG/SS gave a unique remix to each beast, but I prefer this chiptune version. It simultaneously has this majestic, flowing feeling to it while also being very high-energy in a way that I dont think Ive quite heard before (maybe just as far as chiptunes, at least).

This rip from ORAS might actually be the original G/S version, but Im not sure.

Bowser is my favorite character in general, it feels great to take control of him in this game.

That scene at the very end of the game makes me happy, the one where hes back at his castle, interacts with his minions and Starlow, and gets a cake from Peach.
