What did this have anything to do with what I said. I clearly only said that it was cheaper to get the fries and sandwich separate and thats all. When did I ever mention getting anything cheaper anywhere else.

Please don't be that customer that complains about why another restaurant of the same franchise sells the same thing for cheaper. Franchise stores don't control the prices and don't always have a cashier function to add tax to a custom price. Yeah you might be right, I might just vote 3rd party actually. Not really a fan of anyone. Will see whats happening come closer to the election

Let me start off by saying I voted for Trump and I will do it again. I live in NY so not like that matters anyway. Point is, I dont even like Trump, but the Democrats just keep putting out the worst presidential candidates and just the way that they speak down to anyone who ever voted for Trump, honestly makes me not what to vote for them. Im sure Im not the only person who feels like this and I dont think they realize they are sabotaging themselves.

I just meant it in a way that people are attacking people who sacrifice everything for them. That was just an example of something that firefighters would still do to protect us all and nothing has changed to make us think otherwise

No, many firefighters stay on the job for 25+ years. Also there is no such thing as desk position. That is only if you are injured and in light duty. And even if they were, does that make it okay to do what they did?

Just saw pictures of fire trucks in NYC with windows smashed and protesters blocking them from trying to do their job and getting stuff thrown at them. I guess its almost been 20 years since 9/11 so people forgot already what theyve sacrificed for this city

Okay as a firefighter, let me explain how it works when firefighters are just standing around. The reason for this is just in case. Fire could extend to another building or store. While fighting the units inside might run out of air, and the other firefighters will need to relieve them. There is also a FAST team which is there in case a firefighter goes missing or goes down, they will rush inside to find the firefighter. So yes, while there is a lot of standing around, its all precautions because at the end of the day, we are risking our lives.

to be fair it could have been an accident. I ordered thru instacart and gave a $15 tip. After confirming certain items that they didnt have and could be subbed for other items, somehow I noticed the tip went down to $3. How I dont know but I didnt notice it right away but I gave him extra cash when he arrived. So I think its more a problem with the app itself

Whats the usual day to day job like for you? I'm assuming there aren't fires everyday all the time so what do you end up doing most of the time for work when not dealing with that @Finally_Im_Back

@OffTempo Youre right, fires arent too common, but its definitely something you should always be prepared for. We do drills during the day, clean the firehouse, cook. Socialize. We do plenty of EMS runs to keep you busy as well. Peoples smoke alarms going off. Etc
